This place is off the main road, on a narrow lane and very easy to miss. Hotel is small and beautiful, good rooms, good food for breakfast, generally clean, has a common pool with complementary 5 minutes of body massage. For first timers, having local SIM and internet pack is important since The Astari Villa and Residence WiFi do not serve long range, so at-least you are connected on skype and whatsapp. Mobile calls are expensive in Bali and 3G is too affordable at 2.5Gb for 60000IDR. Always good to befriend a cabbie or else travel will be expensive, good to trust one person so that they take shortest routes as Bali has long destination distances. Overall, The Astari Villa and Residence is good and affordable, 4 star rating.
A beautiful hotel at a great price

Stayed just for one night. A quiet location and very close to the airport (approx 20 minutes away by driving). The room was very beautiful. I had the one on the first floor. The view from the balcony was marvelous. The staff was courteous and always ready to help. The only downside was the food. You can find many restaurants nearby which offer better food at cheaper prices. And if you’re someone who can’t experiment with food, there are loads of fast food chains minutes away from the The Astari Villa and Residence - like McDonald’s, Burger King, KFC, etc.

It was a good The Astari Villa and Residence with good rooms, nice staff and good food. Liked their breakfast and free one way shuttle services to Kuta, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua beaches. Staff is very courteous and have a good knowledge about food and places to visit. Pool suite is slightly old but the rooms are new and well maintained.

We stayed in the private pool villa which had amazing facilities. The staff was courteous and attended to any issues we faced. The The Astari Villa and Residence location is near to the airport but not a very happening place. Will have to grab a taxi for going out.

It was a good room . Clean and calm place. Nice pool . Not over crowded . Good breakfast . Room service was good . But loaction is away from the city . Can't have evening walk after dinner or so due to remote locality . Though overall was a good place .

Pool villas are perfect for couples. But the pool is very cold so couldn't enjoy much. They provide complimentary spa services. Overall very polite staff with a very warm welcoming always.

They having amazing 1 bhk. Try this 1 it's really awesome for couples. Food is average. Location is amazing. Near to beach and airport... Hotel helps desk is good to find transport for tour.
