Very central location, great r....
After having read some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant to check in to this hotel. Honestly, you get what you pay for, and if people want to live in a posh area without the odd sexshop and workinggirls in the street you deffinately won't get it for 99€ a night. Also you will have to be further away from the city center, so
I arrived late (10pm) with my 12 year old daughter and we walked from the Ubahn station no problem. We stayed for two days and no one bothered us in the street ever. There are lots of Kebabshops and a Penny markt just across the street.
The room was a little small, however clean and comfy. The bathroom was clean, had plenty of towels and soap. The last star would have been given had the waterpressure in the shower been sufficient. I told the reception about this and I'm sure it will be looked into. The walls are thin and if someone talks loudly walking past you door you will hear them, however we could not hear the neighbours on either side of our room during our stay. I would not hesitate to book into this hotel again any time.
Don't forget you need to be able to climb stairs to stay in this hotel. However the receptionclerk helped me with the big suitcase up a flight of stairs to the lift.

Great location for a budget hotel. Handy for the station and U Bahn. Beds were unbelievably comfortable. Kebab restaurant next door was excellent, best Donner! Ignore negative reviews, you get what you pay for. Room was comfortable and clean.

avoid this hotel
I booked this Hotel due to its close location to the train station and being close to the city center. But I did not check the neighborhood.
First of all this neighborhood feels unsecure. Filled with bet houses and sex shops and smelly Turkish restaurants. During night its crowded and noisy. My room was smelling kebab. As others mentioned the stairs to the lobby is a killer and You really should not book this hotel if you have problems with stairs.
Nothing too special about breakfast, it was poor in my opinion. No fridge at the rooms, and you have to leave the keys to the lobby when you leave the hotel which is dumb.
One positive side was free wifi and the rooms & bathroom was clean. Expensive for what it offers.

Worst hotel during my month in....
Expected better got worse! Terrible street that makes you feel unsafe. Sex shops, strip clubs, begging, etc. Amsterdam's Red Light area is a joy in comparison. Stairs to lobby are killer. Staff treats you like dumb tourists. Save your $$ go elsewhere, anywhere!

I had room on top floor this w....
Top floor room, but next to me were smokers and stink comes in to your room, if you keep your balcony door open....well I survived.
Pics of hotel are made with photoshop... Cheap joke on customers.
Runs/operates by mid asians.
Rooms are built definitely under standards of sound insulation you can really talk through the wall with your neighbour.
Cheap build just for profit.
Good things are what you can see or not, but ears made that clear how things really are!
Yes cheap, but lack of privacy!
