Pleasurable stay. Great location for stay for tourists

First thing first : location of this hotel is super. 10 on 10 for that. Gendarmenmarkt is the perfect place to stay if you are planning to soak into the flavour of berlin. Very convenient, well connected, close to berlin h bf station (10 minutes by uber cab. Walk around and enjoy potsdamer platz, checkpoint charlie, brandenburg gate, two very similar looking french and germane cathedral, the berlin mall and so on. Museum island is just about a kilometre away. Enjoy evening there by the river side park. Now about what you should keep in mind- 1. Please check the essential amenities like refrigerator and coffee maker before you check into your room. Our refrigerator was not working. We complained immediately. Did not get repaired even on the second day. We were shifted to a different room next day. 2. Please ensure you get bedsheets, pillow and blanket for your extra bed. We were three of us and booked our room with extra bed. When we were shifted to the new room, we didn't get bedsheets etc for the extra bed. Had to seep on the sofa without blanket, pillow even after asking for it several times. When we complained, they compensated us with a free breakfast. We do highly appreciated this gesture, yet better avoid such situations. Ensure you get the bed made before you check in.
