Really bad experience
My experience in that place was really bad.
- Constant smell of cigarettes in corridor and room
- Night noise from the strip club and disco located in the same building
- Located in the area full of street prostitutes and shady men
- There was an used chewing gum in my bedclothes (!)
- Shower tray in our bathroom was leaky and in result, the floor was always wet
- Constant noise from the street
- Close to city center
Definitely not recommend.

Noisy Hotel on Busy Street
I stayed here for just one night. If I had been staying longer, I am sure I would have looked for an alternative hotel after the first night.
We arrived at about lunchtime, knowing that we were too early to check in, but just to leave our bags. On the booking, it clearly stated that check in was at 2pm, but on arrival we were told it was at 3pm.
My room was basic, but adequate.
The problem was the location. Our rooms faced the busy Potsdamer Strasse and there was traffic noise all night. However, what we were not aware of when booking was the 2 strip clubs, either side of the hotel. The noise coming from their patrons coming and going all through the night meant sleep was almost impossible. There were drunken brawls outside and a lot of noise right outside my window all night long.
My friend, who had the room next to mine, also did not get any sleep due to the constant noise.
I would only recommend this hotel if you can sleep throuh anything,or maybe intend to frequent the establishments next door!
I will not be returning to this hotel.

great place to stay if you wan....
had room 210 which was directly above one of the clubs,
you can here noise from the clubs until at least 6 am.
I didn't get any sleep at all, due to the noise and a fight outside the club.
Also had a bus parked right outside my window with its alarm going off for about 37 minutes.
needless to say I will not be staying here again..

Worst service ever!
The first guy when we arrived was very nice. Then there were only women and different everyday. First night I told one of them that the room was too cold and the central heating wasn't working and she told me that she would call the technician in the morning. Next day in the afternoon, I told a different receptionist that heating wasn't stil working and this time I was told "that in the city of berlin the heating is not available because it wasn't cold for german people". I asked and if I am cold how are you going to solve my problem? And she told me that they would bring an electrical heating but that it would take days.
The third day I go to the reception, this time very very angry, and the receptionist gave me her electrical heating wich she had behind her feet. I had to carry it myself to the room.
Funny thing is that after they remained without the electrical heating, they were always covered with scarfs and blankets.. ah! So they were cold too???
Don't ever thing your customer is an idiot.
Also the place had a bar of prostitutes next to it and there was a lot of noise at night.
Also you could see prostitutes in the streets behind the hotel.

Very cheap, but uncomfortable
We stayed in this hotel in a three-bed appartment for 5 nights, and having read some reviews here, I was expecting a real nightmare... Instead, nothing special happenned. We were enjoying Berlin untill 2-3 a.m., but still did not notice any police/strip bar involved accidents nearby. The location was good, the bathroom was quite spacious, with loads of hot water, and the breakfast was really generous (delicious bree cheese included daily). The main two problems were: 1) noise from the outside and the neighbours, but we were too exhausted to stay awake for these reasons; 2) bad wifi connection - they've repaired it only in three days after our arrival, and it worked only at the reception. The staff is very friendly - there was no problem to ask them for an extra key at 4am, or to print a boarding pass. So, if you are looking for a brief, cheap stay next to the heart of Berlin, it's definitely a good option!
