DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Fiji - Sonaisali Island

I had a single day stop over at nadi so chose this resort. The rooms are beaten to death. The toilet had stains and was stinking. Upon all this there was a power outage and had to walk for around 800 mtrs twice in the scorching sun of nadi to the reception to report the issue. Even after reporting the issue asked them for buggy drop for which they said the buggy was busy and as i started to walk back the bag was already here. The fake smiles at the reception are masks to cover up rudeness. The food was pricey and below par. Never gonna suggest any of my travel buddies of this godforsaken place.

The food was worst without options. All three days the breakfast had the same menu. Dinner option was left with only pizza and burger. All the food that was served was stale. One day, the red wine was oxide ed, but I ignored it. The next day the coleslaw was not fresh, but I ignored it. But when on the third day, the food came which was spoilt and smelling, I had to make a serious complaint. The problem was that the chef did not seem to understand that it was a serious problem. She seemed to think that it was not a big deal that food that was off, and could cause food poisoning could have left the hilton kitchen. To me, that was a big issue. I tried to raise this with the management, and hopefully this will improve. Otherwise, the property is great.
The views and size of the room were the best features.

Overall it was a good stay. Don't expect much like other Hilton.
There were worms in the bath area.
