Best hotel we stayed at in Chi....
Great little hotel, friendly helpful staff, central location, clean, tidy, very good value for money.
We chose this hotel due to location and previous reviews. Shifted to this hotel after completing an Intrpid food tour. This hotel was the best we stayed at in Mainland China and beats the huge hotels hands down.
I would recommend it to any mid range travellers.

Good location and clean rooms
I had troubles finding the hotel because it’s located in a narrow street sort of under a bridge. But it’s a walking distance to main attractions and near a metro station. My room was a dulex double room. It was big and had a small balcony which was nice. The room was cleaned daily. I’d stay there again. The staff at the reception were helpful. I had breakfast twice and it was good as well.

Quiet, comfortable and clean
Excellent location near East Nanjing Road and the Bund at Suzhou creek. Quiet, comfortable and clean. Service good, English spoken. Stayed one night only. Good value for money for the area. Would recommend

Great location, comfy room
We stayed here for 3 nights March 27-30 and found it very comfy and convenient.
From Pudog airport, took the fast Maglev airport train to Longyang Rd. Station Line 2, then got on Line 2 and rode to East Nanjing Rd metro station. Exit 5 or 6 is a short walk to the hotel. Same line 2 goes directly to Shanghai Hongqiao railway station for our day trip to the beautiful Hangzhou. The previous stop is Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport for our flight back home. People square, Tomorrow square, Shanghai museum, Jade Buddha temple are all short metro stops away. Bund is a short walk away. So great connectivity for all our purposes.
Room was fine, comfy beds, big cupboard, table etc and we appreciated the couch.
Lots of shops near by to buy stuff for us vegetarians. Bread talk at metro exit 3 has great variety of breads
Staff speak English and it was a GREAT location for staying.

Friendly, great location & val....
Approaching the hotel, we became sceptical as to whether booking here had been a good choice: not far from a main road, the building from the outside looked rather ugly and uninviting. Luckily, things changed drastically upon entering the lobby: spacious, climatised and modern, we were immediately welcomed by the very friendly and fluently English-speaking staff.
We had booked the Executive Suite for a very fair price. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a modern bathroom. It included basic toiletries, daily room service, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe, a bottle of free mineral water and a mini bar. Two TVs were provided, one opposite the bed, the other in the living area.
The only downside was that there was absolutely no view out of the window, which opened into a narrow courtyard. Noise was not an issue, although we did keep the windows closed for the most part due to the air conditioning.
We didn't try the breakfast, but we did try out the coffee in the lobby, and it was pretty tasty!
The hotel is very conveniently situated, getting to the Bund and to East Nanjing Road (+ Metro) takes roughly 10 mins by foot, and there are many shops and restaurants nearby.
I can honestly recommend this hotel: friendly and professional staff, clean and well-equipped rooms, a fantastic location - in short, an ideal 'base' to explore Shanghai from!
