Tara Angkor Hotel

Location:- the center town is just 2 km (7 min ride by Tuk Tuk) away from this Tara Angkor Hotel, however, the Tara Angkor Hotel staff recommended us not to venture out on our own by cycle or walk as a precaution after sunset to avoid petty crime. They suggested us to take Tuk Tuk from the Tara Angkor Hotel to reach the center town. The free cycle provided was only available from 6 am to 6 pm. Service: we opted for a free cycle at the Tara Angkor Hotel and we were informed that the cycle can be availed at 6am and should be returned by 6ppm which I felt was not friendly. Looking at the condition of the cycle given to us the Tara Angkor Hotel should not have asked for a declaration of extra USD, if the cycle is stolen or has an unrepairable damage. I definitely feel this is an area of improvement for the Tara Angkor Hotel to have fair practices. Staff: all staff were friendly and helpful some staff greet exaggeratedly which is an indicator for the guest to tip them. I think the Tara Angkor Hotel management should ensure and control the staff behavior in order to save their reputation.

On reaching the Tara Angkor Hotel we were warmly received with a welcome drink and towels. The lady at the reception gave us all information about how to plan our itinerary for the two days we were in Siem Reap. She took down our request for airport drop 2 days later. The room was fabulous with all the amenities. Next day as we had to start early they packed breakfast boxes for us. The breakfast buffet was simply unbelievable! I had not seen so much variety in a breakfast buffet before... Food was tasty. They have a beautiful swimming pool and lounge. It is definitely a Tara Angkor Hotel to stay in when in the city.

If you are looking for a luxurious stay in Siem Reap. This is the one for you. The location is prime. Almost 1.5 KM to the City center and the best thing is every tuk tuk driver knows this Hotel. The Hotel offers a great stay and breakfast at a reasonable price. Staffs are pleasing and they know English very well. Don't choose the studio room as it has no windows. Pool is great and clean.

Very pleasant stay, good amenities, cleanliness, hospitality, and quality of food - we have nothing to complain. The convenient location of the Tara Angkor Hotel was a bonus. Noticed a bit extra courteous behavior towards white-skinned guests though, for the reasons best known to them! Overall a great Tara Angkor Hotel. Would love to revisit.

Narrowed down Cambodia for our new year's evening stay and preferred a central location and quiet ambience at Siem Reap. This Tara Angkor Hotel was our choice and we enjoyed our stay. The staff, cleanliness and everything have to be much appreciated. Thanks for the airport pick up and drop facility.

Great breakfast spacious room good AC, polite staff, central location! Overall excellent for this price value for money, recommended to stay. Swimming pool was under renovation but we could go to a neighbouring resort for free. Happy with Tara Angkor

Excellent property ! location near to d central market n pub street. We were given a specially prepared vegetarian food by them. Excellent amenities like sauna n spa is really good. Service also v good.

Good location, 5-7min by tuktuk to old most. 20min from Airport and 10min from Angkor wat main gate. Nice pool, sauna and spa services. We loved our stay.

Had a pleasant stay, friendly staff, clean rooms and closer to good restaurants as well. Even the restaurant's breakfast buffet had plenty of options for vegetarians.

Great wait staff and housekeeping. Front desk needs some help. Language barrier for english speaking.
