Lovely accommodation with clos....
Lovely apartment and the 2 bedded one was a great size and although we were a family of 4, it could easily have accommodated a family of 6. Do not be put off by the exterior and entrance as the apartment was lovely and just as shown on photos. Would definitely recommend and the manager was very helpful and efficient.

Great base camp for exploring ....
Some friends and I stayed here, with my son, back in December (2016) and had no trouble at all here. We booked via Airbnb and communication was great. Very professional and efficient from booking, through to check in/out. The room we stayed in was more than ample for our needs, it was clean and warm, had a beautiful tree mural on the wall, and had a little tv if we were bored. We each had a bed (Double and 3 x twin) and it wasn't cramped at all!! The toilets were opposite, and a little kitchen area is a little further up on the left, whilst the showers were near reception. There are 4 showers in the room, but when i went i just locked myself in, there was never any queues and the hot water never ran out!!
I can understand why previous reviews complained of the noise at night, but it didn't really affect us at all. Our door was quite noisy as it slid open, but it never woke my son, and didn't affect our stay or bother us at all. I presume we were visiting during a quiet period, as didn't really have any noisy "neighbours", although i guess it's the luck of the draw, depending on who is staying at the same time!!
Rudy on reception was wonderful, check-in was efficient, with no issues getting in. The location is literally 5 minutes from the main Boulevard, though you can miss it if you aren't looking as there isn't a huge sign, and it looks like a regular residential entry gate. We were handed the keys upon arrival (we had emailed to confirm our arrival time) and given a tour of the place, as well as lots of hints and recommendations. Location was great for our needs, and everything was easily accessible on foot.
All in all, we had a wonderful few days, no complaints from us about the room, staff or anything else. It was clean, convenient and exactly what we needed!!

Fine if you don`t mind noise a....
As others is very friendly. The lights are a little like a doctors office and I didn't have any view but the bed was comfortable and the shower did the job!
Every rom have only one key. There is no receprion and in the night young, drunk people often ring the bell, which everybody can hear, knocking on door, yells and wakes you up around 3-4 a.m. If there is a problem the owner do not answer his phone. The owner speak very loud with the guests.

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst I explored Sofia. It is in a great central location. The street it is on looks a bit unloved but it is literally 50m from the main pedestrian boulevard. 2 minutes to walk but nice and quiet. It was an easy 10-15 minute walk to the main Serdika Metro station.
Reception were very helpful, spoke good English and were happy to give ideas of places to visit, eat and drink. Reception isn't 24 hour but they are there at various points in the day. They also gave me a card (also gives discounts at various local bars and restaurants) with their contact number and they are only 10 minutes away. When I texted they responded in minutes and were found promptly.
Clean and basic, with refurbished toilets and showers with no queues when I was there. There is a small communal area with sink, kettle, tea and coffee and a fridge. The weekend I was there everyone was quiet and friendly.
The only issue I had was that the room was a bit cold and the radiators never came on. The communal areas never felt too cold. When I mentioned it they quickly brought round a fan heater but I never did understand why the heating wasn't on. Maybe in Sofia people only put the heating on when really cold.

Lost reservation, chaotic and ....
I stayed in this guest house for 2 nights at the end of Sept 2016.
When I arrived at the guest house I had to learn that the manager lost my reservation (which was at made 4 month before the trip!) and there was no room left.
Fortunately I was traveling with a friend and decided to stay in his room instead of looking for another place.
Since this was a business relevant travel for me I asked the manager wether I can get an invoice for the shared room I paid for and even though he took good care to ensure me that he will send me the invoice via E-Mail I never heard of him again.
I tried to get in touch with the manager at least 4 times via E-Mail after leaving Sofia but he never answered my inquiries.
