Old, old, simply Old
We booked this hotel because we love football. Especialy the worldchampionship football 2014.
This hotel was maybe good in the 50's. I mean 1950.
Old, old, old, simply old.
Accross the street are two nightclubs. So you are assured you can not sleep. We had a room on the 9th floor. We still could not sleep.
Breakfast is good, Wifi you must pay for 28 real.

location location location
I spent four nights at this place in October 2011. The bus stop for the airport-bus in right in the front of the hotel, which is a great advantage. The location in Rua Augusta (nightlife, theater, pubs, jazzclubs etc) is interesting. The beds are soft and sway everytime you turn around. Like everwhere in Brazil, don't forgot to put the used toilet paper into the adjacent container and not into the toilet. The minibar is permanently empty, but you can fill it yourself, if you buy your own beverages beforehand. No free WIFI available, unless you are prepared to pay every day an unreasonable amount of money. However, there is an Internet shop right across the road with reasonable fares. Breakfast buffet is well furnished and the coffee remains hot throughout the service. No other meals are being served though. The fitness center, even though advertised in the lifts, is closed due to construction work going on.

Bad for business travelers - e....
I travel to Sao Paulo on business at least once per month. For this trip, most of the hotels that I like to stay were booked, so I chose this hotel. Rooms were fine, but the internet was absolutely rubbish; they charge about R$30 for 24 hours and the front-desk clerk even said that it was a 2 MB connection for the whole hotel. I literally couldn't check my email, let alone do any work. On a positive, several of the front desk guys were nice and had good attitudes.
