Thoughtless, unhelpful and dis....
I’ve not even arrived there yet but doubt I will now. I am disabled and made this point shortly after booking back in Feb when I asked to cancel after realising I might not be up to the trip. I was told I wouldn’t get a refund due to the rate I’d booked which is my fault I guess, so hung on in there hoping I’d be ok. I then asked (yesterday) for a lower floor room and was told I had been put on the 5th floor. And they don’t have a lift! They can’t move me as they’re apparently full and even under these circumstances where their actions have prevented me from being able to stay they won’t give me a refund. Appalling treatment.

The code of the door that they sent me before my check in wasn't working.
I was tired from the travel and outside of the apartment, without battery In my phone, hungry, starving, had a big party on the bar in front the apartment, the building is too old, the restaurant downstairs is noise and the employments have a bad mood.
I m glad for the girl cames to put In another apartament besides all the concerns.
I need that you refund my money back to me going to another place. They don't want cooperate.
Basically I lost my time In Brussels have concerns about the place. I saw the pictures and your website and I guessed the place was nice, but is opposite.

Great value for price
Great location, right between the Central Station and the old city centre (less than 10 walking minutes). We stayed in the apartment n.401, that is at the 3rd floor (no lift). The apartment is really large and confortable, with a great view on the Meir street (no noise during the night time). It is suitable for 6 persons, as it has 2 double rooms (one is secluded only by a glass and a curtain) and one sofa bed. There are no wardrobes or drawers, only two open cloths hangers, but this is suitable for a short stay. Foniture is new and fitted with a large dining table, a microwave and a dishwasher too. Everything works perfectly. There is a big bathroom with two washbasins, a huge shower and a bath tub (no wc); there is an additional small bathroom with the toliet and a little washbasin. Two days before you arrival you are given a code to enter the flat and the apartment, so there are no keys, you have only to remember the code. We asked for an early check-in, that they managed to do (even if in the end we did not need it). Staff is not phisycally present but they quickly answer by email or by phone. If I should find a negative feature, the little terrace near the kitchen was really dirty, but we did not use it.

Warm and comfortable
A precious spot in the center of Antwerp, near to the train station and to the inner city (almost ten minutes to both).
The apartment is very well organized, large enough to host six people; there are two bathrooms, a small one with the toilet and a second large with the bath tub, a LARGE shower and a double sink.
Microwave oven and dishwasher available!

Amazing flat! great views.
I read the other reviews and Smartflats must have read them too because the wifi and password were printed, laminated and pinned to small cork board in the kitchen. We had towels, toilet paper and all purpose body soap in both wash rooms. I do agree that the stair climb was not for the elderly, pregnant, or overly packed. There was a lift once you got the third flight of stairs, but it would only have fit a small bit of luggage. There is no doorman- you key yourself in both to the building and then to your room. In the last two hotels we've stayed here in Belgium, we have physical keys which means only one person can have the key, which is inconvenient in groups where one or more people may be popping in or out of the room throughout the day. While not terrible, we're on holiday together of course, we did notice it and more than once wished we had two keys to a room. This code allowed every the flexibility to come and go as they liked, more like America where every guest has key. We didn't have any trouble making the temperature controls work. The view is amazing. This is the largest hotel we've stayed at since we've come to Belgium (or ever for that matter) and are so happy to not be on top of each other while in the hotel room :) Large flat screen tv, several devices took the USB cords for charging, separate toilet and showering rooms for those times when bathing and someone else peeing is called for; simply lovely apartments. We couldn't be happier with this place.
