Lovely property on nigeen lake far away form the hustle bustle. Lovely views and rides and super kashmiri food. Great stay

Overall good experience. Rooms crowded with unnecessary extra bed. No chairs to sit. Very good service. Overly woodworked.

Basic accommodation with decent food (very limited options). Very good and polite managers. Too overpriced for what they offer. Its basic facility with good location and pricing is for location i guess.

We went as a family, and the stay was great right from the ride to the hotel and the checkout. It was a warm welcome there by the staff, with an amazing Kahwa n cookies.. the food (dinner & breakfast) is custom made, and was made to the taste n liking. In the night, there was a storm, but The staff was prompt in the acting on it and making sure the guests done suffer. Hats off to them to work at their festive time to ensure guests are taken good care off. Appreciate them

the property is at a beautiful scenic location, clean lake compared to Dal lake, well maintained, the staff was very courteous. the food was good.

What a wonderful experience. Serene and away from the hustle bustle of the city the property offers you cosy relaxing time. the houseboat offers very well maintained rooms with a common dining and living room. the terrace is very well maintained. food served was very tasty and service is very punctual. I'll highly recommend this houseboat for couples and family

Had booked 2 deluxe rooms with inclusions like guaranteed early check in and late check out for 2 hrs, complimentary hi tea with veg options, however the management had not accepted any of these inclusions, hence my request to fellow travellers not to book with these inclusions at a higher price than usual. Apart from this, the property is well maintained, they have an adjacent small flower garden, the sunrise and views of the zabarwan range is great. They do not have any provision for lunch even with extra charges, so the included offer of 20% off on f&b is of no use. Lake crossing from ghat to house boat and vice versa is complimentary. However, whether the price of the stay justifies the value is a big question!

Great experience this was our second visit. This is perfect gateway for couples se and family. Not a party place a place where you find peace.

Its located at nigeen lake for which you need to arrive at ghat no 1 and take a shikara ride for the hotel. The shikara was arranged by the hotel as infoemed to them earlier and its just a 10 mins ride to the anchored boat. The stay was good with a lot of scope for improvement.

Stay is neat and clean, room is good but as mentioned in booking, they don't offer buffer dinner or elaborate hi tea, they have limited options available and they dont ask or share options before preparing dishes. Overall food is not like usual welcome heritage hotels. Stay is worth the price but food is below average in terms of preparation of items

We had a great stay at the property! we were greeted by mr. Tanveer, the manager of the property and were offered a refreshing kahwa upon our arrival. The interiors were beautifully adorned with kashmiri decor, looking out at the peaceful and serene nigeen lake. We were attended to by mr. Majid and mr. Rayees who ensured our stay was very pleasant. The food was delicious and very homely and we kept coming back for more! a revisit is definitely on the cards!

Room - we booked 2 suites but considering it will be on 2 different houseboats, they upgraded one of our room to lake view suite room. This helped us not only stay on one boat but got the most beautiful view from our room. Suite rooms are very spacious and well decorated. Washrooms are good too. Not so good - warm water was not available for bathing. Location - it is at nigeen lake due to which temperature was low and pleasant. View is amazing and vendors comes at your boat for sale. Giving a feeling of floating market. Food - very very limited option as it is made by one person. I would suggest to have dinner outside and opt for breakfast. Food was tasty in terms of whatever we requested considering it is a private butter service. Service - good services but we had to leave our car at ghat no. 1 and from car to the shikara, we had to drag our luggage by ourselves. But the distance is very small like 150metres and if you do not have much luggage then it is not a problem. Same when we checked out. Shikara is complementary.

Had an amazing stay - staff is very warm and helpful, houseboat looks beautiful, food was delicious, view was amazing, room was warm and cozy. Had zero issues in our stay here.

I booked a luxury suite of the so-called itc welcome hotel affiliated houseboat for my husband's birthday to make him feel special. I requested the boat manager to arrange welcone flowers and cake, but to my surprise, these basic things were not available on the houseboat. Later, they got cake but never told us about it. A big miscommunication. So we didn't celebrate on that day. Later, they charged 1500, which is shameful on the houseboat manager's part. Rest, electricity is a big problem. Whole night, we were not able to sleep due to chilling room temperature, and the heater was not working. Is this you called luxury suite ? no proper arrangements of food. Menu is v less. Batrooms were smelly. Overall, it was a bad experience. Never go for a houseboat celebration in case.

Awesome view and peaceful location. Food quality is good and homely taste. Staffs are helpful and supportive. The said house boat is probably the best in class house boat. I strongly recommend people to come and stay here for at least a night and enjoy it's awesome interior which will give you a royal comfortable feeling

Water scarcity is there and food items was very few. Okayish. Smoking and alcohol consumption is not allowed

We stayed at the houseboat for two days i. E. On 8th/ 9th september, 2023. Accomodation is superb. It's very neat and clean. We were at houseboat #3 in royal suit. Washroom is clean & hygienic. The common areas viz. Dinning, drawing, balcony & terrace is very well maintained. The two attendants mujakkir & mujaffar is very attentive, sober & well behaved. Food served in the boat is very tasty particularly the rogan josh served along-with dinner breakfast is healthy and good. Prices of the dinner is slightly on higher side @ rs. 1150 per person. I will recommend to stay at the house boat, it's value for money.
