pic only showing rich but inside its looks like lodge only and bed cushion was not satisfied and it's like we slept on rock and there is no comfortablility and morning breakfast was very poor there is no menu nd nothing available just for name sake it's breakfast thtst

Very pleasant stay in a sea side property. Prompt room service , good restaurant, nice private beach and a magician in the evening for the kids - our stay was super.

This place location is very much approachable from ECR , very close to crocodile park. Staff are kind in check in at late hours and attending the calls with no hesitation in early morning

We had booked the sea view suite. The room was very good and the view was amazing. Definitely worth the price. The staff were very courteous. Food was decent. A special mention for the security guard who was stationed at the beach point. His name is Mr. Kaathavarayan. He went above and beyond his job description. He made sure all the guests were safe on the beach. Politely but firmly discouraging anyone from playing in the waves after 6pm due to the aggressive and wild nature of the sea. We will always remember his helpful and kind nature. 😊

We had a great time enjoying the swimming pool and indoor games with the kids. The highlight of our mornings was definitely the peaceful sea walk—a truly refreshing and calming experience. Shelter Beach resort in Mahabalipuram is a very good property, right on the beach with private beach access. The large space inside with some indoor and outdoor games, swimming pool and buffet breakfast with good ambience makes this a good hotel for a family trip. Some things like dinner food options and room cleanliness could be improved to make things even better.

Top marks for the location, hospitality of the staff and the food. Unfortunately the room lacked cleanliness. Overall stay was good.

Shelter Beach Resorts - Not a good place for stay with family. Rooms were not clean, bathrooms were having bad odour, I had to complain 3 times to get a room fresh spray. AC - I hope they have never cleaned it after the first installation, we started feeling the drainage smell when we switch ON the AC. No action taken when complained. Breakfast food for the money could have been improved. Overall Poor experience with the stay and amenities.

Good atmosphere slightly costlier, near to beach. But good house keeping staffs. Enjoyed food and ambiance.

The room was full of mosquitos and in the ground floor room the toilet had drainage smell and the smell spread throughout our room and we could not sleep at all.The swimming pool was not clean.

I had book a 1 night stay at Shelter beach resorts. The room was given exactly only after 2 pm, we checked into the room and we found the AC was not working properly, we had to stay in sweat condition all through our stay. We informed the room service about the AC condition but no care was given. The room service was pathetic we asked for water which was served after 45 mins and calling the room service for more than 4 times. Breakfast was ok, swimming pool needs revovation. I paid 22k for one day stay..it was not worth for 22k..morning breakfast was good...but evening hi tea was not worth for the money we paid..they could have added snacks as part of package ..location is good...food is OK...thx

Rooms are neat and clean. Morning buffet was very good menu dishes are little costly compared to the quality.

Nice place to stay with family especially in weekends where u can access the private beach easily..and food is very nice
