Ideal Beach resort

It was good, food is always good. The receptionist who is North Indian is unwelcoming, this is 2nd time I am facing such experience from same person.

Very good property to stay. We took garden view room and it was pretty good. Food was expensive. They have a private beach. Service was good. Breakfast is delicious.

Stay is Excellent, Beach view is great, Complimentary breakfast is worth, Price is bit high they should have included hi tea along with the package

The stay was excellent with a good experience. The swimming pool was neat and clean. We spent a good amount of time at the beach and also enjoyed the food at the restaurant. The staff were polite and welcoming. Overall we had memorable moments..

Terrible resort and poor service for in room dining they charged much and they gave pathetic service

This resort is situated at 1.5 hours drive from chennai near Mahabalipuram. Early morning and late night cabs are easily available. Beach access -Thisproperty has private beach access which is very clean with cafe and nearby rooms. Food - Excellent food with great variety and spreads of foods in buffet. North and south Indian foods are equally excellent along with the continental and Chinese and reasonably priced. Rooms - Spacious with all amenities nearby to beach. Deluxe sea facing rooms has balcony with sea views. Bathrooms - Hygenic and clean with hot and cold water 24 hours. Property - Itself is maintained beautifully and properly lit during night offering very serene and peaceful environment. It is a proper resort for children and group activities with ample playing/activities options. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Stayed in the resort in sea facing and normal rooms both for over 5 days. Overall the stay was very memorable and thanks to all the staffs for making this stay memorable. Special thanks to owner for maintaining property in such conditions.

We stayed at Ideal Beach resort on a weekend this August. We had reached a couple of hours early and got to know that we still could enjoy the private beach and have a beer and snacks, till they allot a suitable room. Room was awesome complete with a dressing room and Bathroom had a nice bathtub and a moulded glass wash basin

Properties location is good with a private beach, with good food. But there were some basic issues we faced. The door lock stopped working, had to repair it. Through MMT the room was advertised as a sea view room, which was not the cause. There were corporate events going on, and there was a lot of noise and shouting going on, which made the ambience less relaxing. Also, in the night most of the surrounding room residents started drinking and played loud music, which was very disturbing. This is our second time visit to Ideal beach resort, and this time the experience was not good. Also, we checked out early morning, and requested to pack some breakfast. We were given some bread slices without any grilling or sandwich ingredients. We were told fruit salad would be given, but only an apple and orange was given. Considering per day, this is not value for money and disappointing.

Had a very relaxing stay with family and kids. The rooms were clean and had all necessities. The resort has easy access to the beach and has plenty of greenery. Food was great, service was a little slow both courteous.

The place preferrers corporate team over family. The lawn inform of our room was given to a corporate event where they played music and had announcements in speaker all day till 7 pm. We with our 3 year old was not able to relax at all

It was a terrible experience . Not sure why it is marked as mmt luxe stay as it was one of the worst experiences. The staff behaviour service food everything was worse

The rooms are good and the swimming pool is very nice . highly recommended for the family members to stay here . staff are very polite and address the issues from the customer . The beach area and other places are walkable

Extraordinary stay, Nice ambiance, Very good food. But locking system for rooms are bit tough to handle that too only for sometimes. Beach access is really great and all the staff are doing exceptionally well. I rate 8 out of 10 for my overall experience. We stayed for 1 day and this is my second time visiting this place. The best place for a decent budget and best experience

Very calming place. Food and property were very nice! It’s a nice place if you’re looking to go on a mini staycation within Chennai.

Property was good location is also good. Poor services AC did not work, TV was not working, we have call 4 to 5 times for each and everything.. No engaged activities after 6 and No access to beach and pool after 6. Then what we will do after 6

Great seaside location. Very nice rooms - nice and spacious. Staff a little slow at clean-up and other requests. Alot of options on the food menu but only a few available. And of course - expensive! Shower was a massive disappointment. Wifi was a hit and miss
