Location: easy to find, it’s on ecr road. Food: the food was decent for the price, but they should at least provide complimentary water once we check in. They had filled the normal ro water in our room. We didn’t receive any complimentary drink upon arrival. They mentioned they would provide complimentary tea/coffee in the evening, but it was provided the next morning instead. For the complimentary breakfast, they only mentioned the item names without indicating whether they were vegetarian or non-vegetarian, making it difficult to identify whether some items like pancakes or muffins contained egg. Property: overall, the rooms were neat, clean, and felt fresh.

Our stay at the beach resort was a fabulous experience! The property was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a family getaway. Shelter Beach resort in Mahabalipuram is a very good property, right on the beach with private beach access. The large space inside with some indoor and outdoor games, swimming pool and buffet breakfast with good ambience makes this a good Shelter Beach Resort for a family trip. Some things like dinner food options and room cleanliness could be improved to make things even better.

The property is good but it's little pricey. you get access to the beach. But the amenities are very less compared to the price of room and even the welcome drinks were not provided as we checked in little late. The restaurant staffs were polite and very customer friendly.

The resort was at beachfront and has a private beach access till 10 pm. Rooms were clean and decent. Freeya tea/coffees are provided at morning and evening. Overall it was a calm and pleasant stay!
