MARUTHAM VILLAGE RESORT

Wonderful stay at Marudham.Even though it had few drawbacks, positive things overpowered the negativity and cos of that I have rated them maximum. cons: As we went on May day, there were so many batches of ppl who had come for a one day trip due to which the restaurant was very crowded. The food service can be improved, as my first impression was not that great, as the response was very bad. Food was not that great. it was good. Cost was on higher side. And also can look into the hygiene part at restaurant. Pros: 1. Ambience: Excellent surroundings. The look of the place was very pleasant. Farm, stay area,play area, swimming pool, pump set and Kaithu kattil dinner. Important thing is : YOU CANT FIND EVEN A SINGLE MOSQUITO. Even I was extremely surprised. Night thallu vandi kadai dinner, sitting outside and eating, we did not have any trouble with mosquitos. 2. People : ppl who work there were very friendly. Few really were very kind and helpful. Azhagar, Amol akka and Kanchana akka helped us so much. spl thanks to Azhagar, as i had requested him for the marudhani session which he arranged without fail. Whatever we requested, they immediately addressed it, which was very impressive. 3. Extracurricular activity: So much is there to experience. Wondering how my 2 night stay just flew. So much fun. Night dance programme was vera level. Kudos to entire team. Though we have travelled so much and stayed in so many places, my 6yr old loved this stay so much and told me that she wanted to stay here a few more days and doesn't wana leave this place, as the experience was entirely different.

We had an absolutely delightful stay with our family, surrounded by the serene ambience of lush green paddy fields. The food was outstanding, offering a unique taste of native cuisine that left us thoroughly satisfied. The highlight of our visit was the captivating performance of the native thappatam dance, which added a magical touch to our experience. Pump set bath was very refreshing The hospitality and warmth of the staff made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with excellent dining and cultural experiences. Tea, coffee served in the evening could have been part of the package rather charging.

If you are planning a one-day trip along ECR, I highly recommend visiting Marutham Village Resort. It’s a wonderful place for a family stay, offering a unique experience immersed in village culture. The rooms are designed like traditional houses, the swimming pool resembles a temple pond, and the surroundings include a paddy field and a pump set. In the evening, you can enjoy performances like Thappattam and Karakattam, and for dinner, you will get to experience a setup similar to a traditional Thaluvandi Kadai. overall good, the prices are slightly expensive, but you get quality for what you pay. Clean rooms, professional help and a great ambience are helpful to relax. Traditional dishes as part of breakfast is a wonderful addition. Staffs are really helpful, I chose to do a bullock cart ride for an additional 500Rs. The pumpset bath is worth an experience. Overall, really enjoyed the stay

Nice resort. The resort has cows, goats, geese, chickens and few turkeys. Lot of space to move around. Swimming pool, waterfall and pump set is available for anyone who is interested. Excellent food. Folk dances are not available on all days. Overall our family had a good time. We thought folk
