We had a very pleasant stay at this property. The food and dessert spread was very nice. They provided us baby food at request whenever it was needed. The property was well maintained. Mr Surya at the Front desk was very courteous.

Food quality, location & facilities are top notch. The only problem with the property was service. Housekeeping didn’t do its job perfectly. In-room service was also not upto the mark. The service at restaurant was also poor.

Two night stay with family and friends

Service - Appalling reason for this: a) During the stay at one time guest services was in unresponsive for more than half hour despite repeated calls b) Dinner service - was provided with a plastic wine cup and told that they did not have any wine glasses as they had run out of it - imagine a five star hotel with limited guests telling you this- finally ended up by providing a brandy glass and was asked if this would do - staff just didn’t care and the supervisors just disappeared while this was happening during dinner on the 18th d) was provided a smelly room which took ~ 40 mins to change and was left to the housekeeping staff to sort out - again no calls from the supervisors or the front office - note appalling e) Only time an apology was provided was during checkout - wish they could be more concerned sooner ...Food, location and amenities - Was excellent but will not recommend as a place to stay. Dharesh was the only bright spot amongst the glaring service gaps

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa on ECR and had a fantastic experience. The property is beautiful—lush gardens, a stunning infinity pool, and direct access to a clean private beach. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a wonderful balcony with a sea view. I especially loved the attention to detail, from comfortable beds to thoughtful room amenities. The dining options were impressive. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with both Western and Indian selections, and everything was delicious. We had a memorable dinner at the beachside restaurant with fresh seafood and wonderful ambience. What made the stay truly special was the staff. Everyone—from reception to housekeeping to the restaurant team—was extremely warm and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and quick to assist with any request. If I had to mention any small issue, the spread in the complimentary High Tea was lesser compared to competeitors Overall, this is easily one of the best resort experiences I’ve had near Chennai. Highly recommend the Sheraton Grand ECR—whether you’re looking for a relaxing family holiday, a romantic getaway, or just a peaceful break by the sea!

Poor customer service

after having booked via mmt, the package had 1000 credits to be given during check in by the property. But during check in the front desk is busy gossiping and not interested to talk to customers. What is even more disappointing is that restaurant in property denied the credit even after the front desk agreed to credit later on. This is totally a scam by the property team to make money and is not interested about customer satisfaction. On other hand property location is great, the food is great and so is the room service.. it is just that the front desk which is very casual and has unprofessional attitude

Bathtub is highlight even in standard room. Excellence hospitality from base level service staffs to high level service staffs. Will keep on repeating stays if possible in future Sheraton was great experience in beach resorts. Hospitality was really up to the high level. Great ambience setup. Friendly staffs!

Hi !! The stay was awesome , from welcoming to checking out was so good and pleasant by Sharmistha and Nithin. Especially the breakfast and dinner was nice. We got to enjoy the multi cuisine dishes of the chef Mr.Jagdeesh in the Reef.

average stay for the price , for my child’s birthday weekend

I had planned it for my baby’s 2nd birthday.. the room and food was good.. but the resort lacked hospitality, patient staffs as well..even after informing the staffs about my baby’s birthday nothing special was done for her.. and upon multiple requests for a baby spoon i was given a medicine sized spoon for my child..and no toys were given to my child to play in mud.. overall it was a really average experience for the price and we will not be coming back again..

Disappointed for a weekend relaxation

Long time for check in. Repeated calls for room services. Certain things missing from the same type of 2 rooms which we took. Welcome drink was not served and wi fi password was not provided at check in or stay period. TV remote did not have batteries.

The stay at Sheraton was excellent. We went as a group of 10 anfld got and upgraded room because of availability. The rooms are very clean. We ordered the food from the restaurant - it was quick service with tasty food. Note that portion sizes are big. We gave feedback on certain dishes. All in all a lovely weekend stay.
