The appearance of the hotel looks grand. Since this hotel has a convention center as well, parking was a complete mess and guests get parking denied, had to fight for a space. Check-in process was ok. Rooms are good. Towels look dirty. Food is decent. Had cloggy drains in one of the rooms. Overall average for a nights stay.

The stay is good for money. I booked executive deluxe room, it is very spacious and clean. The amenities also really good. Their morning buffet is really good tastewise and they provided more options also. One problem what i faced means they provided a room with defected lock. With the card they provided is not working to open the door. Whenever i go out and came back i reached them for open the door. I felt really bad. They should not provide these kind of room. If they changed the room in begining itself means i might felt better.

Average Stay, Excellent Staff but Poor Value

I stayed at Anandha Inn recently, and overall, the experience was just average. For the price paid, I honestly don’t think it was worth it. The staff were really good and courteous, which is the one strong positive I wouldn’t want to ignore. However, the property itself feels like an old star hotel that hasn’t been maintained up to today’s standards. The room had quite a lot of mosquitoes, which made the stay uncomfortable. The washroom was very average—shower heads looked dirty, and the water flow was poor. Though they advertise facilities of a star hotel, the rooms didn’t reflect that level. Even the TVs were of some unknown brand, and the remote controls didn’t work properly. For a one-night stay, we just managed and checked out the next day, but I wouldn’t consider going back here. At the high price point, there are definitely better options in Pondicherry. In short: Great staff, but average rooms and poor value for money.

Hotel is good and clean. The TV they have is very old and not good. Breakfast spread was good but very badly managed. They were not filling the empty once and the coffee which got over wasn’t replaced for nearly 30 Minutes.
