Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay

Horrible experience. Paid close to and they could not find my booking. Here is the email content I have shared with the management and I recommend not ever going here. 1. At check in- no one could locate my booking for a while and while I understand and respect that check in is at 3 pm for atleast 40 minutes no one could find it. This is after I have shown my fully paid booking to the reception team. I was asked a question on when did I make the booking which to me stands illogical. I have emailed the booking to your reservation as well 2. The room amount paid is close to 25 k and I very sorry to state that the state of the room is absolutely deplorable. This room obviously is not a room that has been maintained with old sofas and run down furniture. I have been to many resorts but I have never faced or seen such a state of a room. I will ofcourse be taking the pictures and share feedback but I wanted to write to you 3. There is a terrible smell in the bathroom- again a sign of uncleanliness and hygiene 4. High tea: we went for high tea and it was in a garden which is nice but there were not even enough chairs. I explained to Shaka that while this set up is great being asked to sit in the play area is unacceptable. Also while we are one with nature next time consider lower music volume in open 5. We came for a quiet and peaceful holiday - no one has informed us there is a wedding and there is loud music exactly next to where our room is. This is despite my repeated requests to ensure we are not placed anywhere close to it. I am bitterly disappointed 6. The fan in our room is making continuous noise and I have had to call for help We are overall feeling very let down and this is unacceptable from a brand like radisson. I regret my decision to be here

The ambience was great and the hospitality was top-notch. The property had direct access to private beach which is a plus. The entire property is picturesque.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The resort is impeccably maintained and boasts a truly beautiful ambiance. Most notably, the customer service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and going above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

Resort was very good but Room amenities are pathetic quality, at least based on hotel brand and room charges they should give good quality & branded amenities. 1. Poor quality Dental Kit 2. Very very poor quality shaving kit 3. Towels are very hard and pale yellow colour. 4. For three guest only 2 coke given 5. Poor food taste

The location of this resort is perfect. With almost a private beach available, we really enjoyed building sandcastles and chilling in the infinity pool. Property is sprawling across a huge area with many amenities to keep a family happy. Location is bang next door to important monuments like the shore temple, lighthouse, five rathas and mahisasurmardini caves! The lazy river and large water body are perfect to forget about time. Food was lip smacking good! Service was with a large heart! All marks to Radisson Blu and it's able team!

The resort was lush, location was pristine and beach was clean and accessible. There were plenty of activity for the kids too. It cant be any better in terms of infrastructure. The only thing to note is that the food is on the pricey side and can be better still a very wonderful place.

The property is located in Mallapuram. It boasts of a private beach, infinity pool and a separate swimming pool for family and kids with pool based activities. Rooms are luxurious and complementary breakfast has numerous options. Since property is too big they provide free of cost buggy service inside the premises. Cordial and helpful staff. All in all an excellent option to choose from.

Good property, good location, beach side lush green resort with all the amenities, kids friendly and lot of options for food. MY son has enjoyed the stay with his time well spent on beach, pool, activity room etc. Always like to revisit.

leisure trip to mahabalipuram became memorable for me and my family! we had an amazing experience staying in radisson, great property, lush green and beach facing. we enjoyed the curated experiences and activities, kids activities, pool, food options and staff promptness. overall I will like to go back again.

The hotel staff welcomed us in a friendly manner and the check-in was completed very quickly. The food was okay and the amenities were up to what we expected. The WiFi connectivity can be improved as the internet speed was dropping below the normal level. Overall, a good stay.

I stay for one night at Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay in Mamallapuram, and it’s been a refreshing experience so far. The location is perfect — right by the beach with a beautiful view of the Bay of Bengal, and just minutes away from iconic sites like the Shore Temple and Pancha Rathas. The property is massive and beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, long walkways, and two gorgeous swimming pools — including a huge infinity pool that faces the sea. The rooms are spacious, well-kept, and quite peaceful; some even come with private patios or sea views. The hospitality has been warm and welcoming — the staff are polite, responsive, and always ready to help, though service can get a bit slow when it’s busy. The food has been great so far; the breakfast spread is generous and the beachside restaurant, The Wharf, is a lovely spot for dinner. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind completely — whether you're here for a family vacation, a quiet retreat, or even a wedding event. Definitely a top pick if you're looking for a beachside escape not too far from Chennai.

Stayed here for a night and had a disappointing experience from the start. Though our check-in time was 3 pm and we arrived by 3:20 pm, the process took nearly 20 minutes, and we reached our room only around 4:10 pm since it was in a separate building accessible . The property serves high tea at 4:30 pm, but due to poor crowd management and limited seating, we had to stand for a while before finding a place to sit. The resort has beach access and two pools, which are nice, but the overall experience was let down by overcrowding, average rooms, and indifferent service. The property feels quite old and lacks the freshness one would expect for the price paid. The dinner buffet included in our package had decent vegetarian options, though the non-vegetarian food was below average. Breakfast was chaotic, with limited seating and slow table cleaning. Our check-out experience was equally unpleasant. Despite paying ,our request for a one-hour late check-out was declined rudely. Adding , we received repeated calls from 10:30 am asking when we would vacate, even after confirming our check-out by noon. Overall, it was a forgettable experience at Radisson Blu Temple Bay, Mahabalipuram. Other properties on ECR like Kalgan Samudra, InterContinental, and Sheraton have been far more hospitable, modern, and better managed. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The resort is right on the main road, easy to spot. Reception process was swift and smooth. We had a family member with mobility issues, reception staff quickly arranged for an accessibility-friendly room. The room was spacious with king bed, large bathroom and a sitout with great view. They left us a snack basket and a mini- fridge full of beverages complimentary which came as a pleasant surprise. They have a large olympic size pool and also an infinity pool with breathtaking views, we loved hanging out there. Hi-tea was equally good, enjoyed it while watching sunset from the private beach. It's a large property with lot of greenery, walking paths and private beach. It was serene and great break from fast paced life. Room service was prompt, setup extra bed, gave us extra towels when asked. Restaurant is good, huge breakfast spread and all items were tasty, restaurant service was good as well. For the first time, I have nothing to say as cons for a resort ! may be other the fact that it is indeed expensive:) but totally worth every penny.

The stay was perfect. The pool, the amenities and people were excellent. Only place they can improve is the restaurants (both the wharf and the waters edge) took way too much time(around 60-90min) to serve food, which was quite disappointing, considering we had a kid in our group.

I went to the hotel for a special occasion, the property was big enough and the swimming pools were nice. But compared the price of booking, missing the luxury everywhere. Starting from the reception to the rooms and the service.

It’s a beautiful resort. The best thing about this resort is the huge swimming pool. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Food is good but very expensive. I felt they could have given a few activities complimentary instead of charging like the pool table, Air hockey etc. Overall a good and comfortable stay.

Excellent swimming pools. One infinity pool overlooking the Bay of Bengal and the other a meandering pool with villas surrounding it. Lots of activities and walking distance to Shore Temple and other attractions. Friendly staff looking after you.

they gave us early check in, staff was polite and helpful, ambience was good, property is neat and clean... beach is just walkable.

we got the early check in... the property is very beautiful with spacious room. food is awesome.. stay was comfortable.
