Its good property. Very well maintained. Good silent place to stay. Just one negative points is that its away from main market and at one of the hills point.

Atah is a great host, really enjoyed the time being spent there. They ensured that the kitchen stayed without nonveg as we are jains and were very accommodating.

Orana is a family run guest house atop a hill near nishat area. The house itself is pretty with a lovely garden, bbq facility, in house cook and caretaker. Pros : the hospitality of the staff, very courteous. Food was excellent. They made dinner arrangements for us even though we informed them very late. And organized early morning breakfast. View of the dal lake from our room upstairs was spectacular room and bathroom size are very big, however room maintenance could be better. We found a very old and torn bathroom mat, the rug in the bedroom was dusty and so were the furniture in the dressing room area. Having said that when i raised my concern about the cleanliness, they were ready to have the space cleaned.

Nothing can beat the vibe of this place, lush green lawn, dal lake view, such nice welcoming staff, extravagance of the rooms. If you are planning a trip to kashmir with your family just book it without any second thoughts it will be worth it.

The stay was peaceful and pleasant. Rooms are spacious, washrooms are clean, bathtub was there. Mr sadeq was polite, courteous to us. Staff was attentive. We had placed a request for providing some of our group members with jain food who came from gujrat as it is difficult for us usually to find pure vegetarian food, the chef priyon was generous. Walk on the trail in the evenings is quite peaceful. I would say it is more of a retreat. Evenings in the garden for high tea is enjoyful. Place like this is perfect to unwind, you feel the vibe of the place is so positive and energising. They also allowed late check-out as we had an evening flight. I would surely recommend.

We stayed there for night, it is a new property, service was good, it was difficult to locate but then the host guided us to the hotel. I would recommend using googlmap. Would be good if more veg choices. Overall i would say the stay was good.

The stay was perfect. It was a family trip. Mr shafi is a great host. The best thing i liked bout was lake view from the rooms. Fod portions were generous. Ample room and washroom space. Would definitely recommend.
