Good Stay
Overall Good Room. It was a deluxe room. But basic amenities like tooth brush and shampoo were not there in washroom. Hotel is located near ooty town, pudumund. Access to restaurant, bakery, liquor shop etc are very easy. it was a comfortable stay ❤️

The highlight of this property is its proximity to main city. Walkable distance to charring cross, and restaurants like Modys, Blue Hills, Sri Lekshmi Illam, Darjeeling Momos. I got the semi delux room, got upgraded to delux room. The property doesn't have a restaurant of its own, the restaurant beside the property is available but didn't try it. Book this property if you need a budget stay, walkable distance to city centre, but not for the view, amenities.Hot water facility, wifi is available.

I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly, warm and welcoming. The rooms very clean and washrooms had hot water facility 24/7. We got parking facility as well. .

Terrible Stay
Bathroom were so smelly...as per amenities no chairs, no tables, no done in facilities inside the room....staffs were so rude....The management told it was a budget room and their saying was felt like why haven't you booked at higher cost...parking was very bad...had to park at back side and the roads were not good to turn vehicles...One of horrible experience...checked in at 5 pm and vacated at 8.00 am....Even after complaining about the bathroom, toilet smell inside room, The management was interested in asking questions weather we used the room instead of analyzing the problems....location of the hotel is not good as even to drink a cup of tea, you have to travel more than a km in car....while checking in, the room service was there and while checking out, no one was ready to support in carrying the luggage...one of my worst experience ever had in my life....just to ensure my family vacation is fine,the next day morning itself I checked out and booked another hotel....

Mr Prabhu We’d like to clarify a few important points regarding your recent stay: Check-in Time: As clearly mentioned, we offer flexible check-in subject to room availability. You were accommodated without issue. Check-out Time: Standard check-out is at 11:00 AM, which is consistent across the hospitality industry. Location & Parking: Our hotel is centrally located, as evident from our listing and numerous positive reviews. We also have ample private parking exclusively for our guests, with no reported issues from others. Room Usage & Upgrade Request: You used the room for over 4 hours before requesting a change. Expecting a complimentary upgrade after significant usage and without a valid issue is unreasonable. Moreover, there was no booking for the following day. Upgrade Policy: Upgrades are offered based on availability and guest conduct. so you wanted free upgradation which was not possible and with ur attitude and talks that way, we ddn want to give it to u as u think taking rude shouting and making complaints can give u free upgradation, this wont work everywhere, and you should know that.
Poor Stay
There is no proper toiletries provided and no tea/coffee kits for room. One of the room has pungent cigarette smell and it was not pleasant to stay in that

Mr Anindya , you could have been precise with toiletries as all are provided as mentioned and what additional you were expecting. One of the room means??? so not the other right, how the other was good then if you smoke inside the room which is strictly prohibited in any hotels. Still as per your request again room sprays were sprayed and made you to help the situation which you caused.

Thanks for mentioning on the cleanliness of room and bathroom , if the room is been kept clean by us , do you think we use dirty blankets and sheets , if so you could have posted pictures. Even though if you weren't satisfied and if its found genuine it would have been instantly replaced as you mentioned the service staffs are all friendly here.

Staff was good and helpful but bedsheets were old and torn off. I don't think they change bedsheet to new ones that often.

Don't advice any body to take budget rooms in Carnation hotel, they are in basement without ventilation, n the manager or owner were rude over this matter.

Hmmm..... A Good Stay😊
Great location 😁 it's very near to commercial Street and we had a warm stay there. Both the owner and the staff (Mr.Mariyados & Prince) were sweet ✨ and approachable. They even guided us regarding the routes and safety measures and restrictions in ooty. Whole Ooty was soooo chill it was 12° but once you get inside the bed cover you will feel the warmth. Only drawback was the room was very small whereas the washroom was bigger 😂 often power cut may be it's Bcz we visited during RED ALERT in ooty 😔. Room , washroom , bed covers and everything was neat and clean 👏🏻. Thank you MMT and HOTEL CARNATION for this comfortable stay.

No food, had to find outside or walk for 15 mins Location is good Room is dirty and bed spreads and curtains are old and not dry cleaned. Bathroom and toilet is clean and convenient. Less ventilation

Mr Sridharan, Thanks for mentioning about the cleanliness of the wash room. Its been mentioned and also told no food service is been provided here and adjacent there is a restaurant of different management. The hotel is located in city as its tagged and who reads the review can see it in the portal so don't know where you walked for 15mns .Check on the other reviews on cleanliness of room, You have mentioned the toilet is clean, and not the room how come sir, we give you an uncleaned room and not cleaned bedsheets. If that so you have all the liberty in any hotel to get full refund and walk with it during your check in itself, you did not bring any of these to our notice. Here if unhappy would have let you walk out with full refund if you dont use the room.

Location is prime. 24hours hot water. Rooms have king size beds. Parking available. It was a comfortable stay.
