Excellent Stay
Rooms were neat and clean, staff was very courteous. Best part about the hotel stay is the location which is central Ooty. the only improvement hotel can do is to have 24*7 hot water

Terrible Stay
the bedsheet and blanket I think previously used or else I was too old we badly suffered itching problems.. no facility not even the morning tea. till 7.45am no warm water. very horrible 😞.

reception staff misbehaved
At the time of check-in bathroom was not cleaned ,used soap and others are found in bathroom. TV In the room is not working ,not reacharged. after informed to reception they don't respond.very difficult to get food ,resturent is not near.At the time of check-in they gave one bathroom towel and after check out the reception staff misbehaved by saying we are stolen one towel from the room.

Good and Bad
I have booked the stay by seeing the positive reviews. But I have faced some difficulties before check in. I have booked four rooms for a family trip including 8 adults 6 kids. But I have mentioned only three kids in because three other kids are of 3 to 5 years old. I have received a call from hotel on the day before check in and asked about the total number of occupants. Then they told me that only 11 persons can be accommodated,as I have not mentioned the small kids while booking. I told them that ,they are very small kids,still they did not accept that.Then I have tried to modify my booking in make my trip app,but that was not possible. In order avoid further complications , I had to book another room in a near by hotel. When I have reached Astoria hotel, they did not show any problem for accommodating kids. Anyways I have lost money for booking another room,which I have not used. About the hotel- The behaviour of hotel staffs are good. Rooms are neat and clean and having lot of amenities. But they not so spacious as shown in the picture. Location and parking good.No restaurant there in hotel, but many restaurants near by available.

Good Stay
The stay was good, the rooms were neat, but hotel people gave preference to people who are booking directly.....they are not giving preference to people who are booking . we asked to give a room with a view. but they denied giving it

One of the best stay i had, amenities was beyond expectations, cleaning was superb, staff corporation was also good. Can be better if they would provide brakefast of different region varieties.

Excellent Stay
My stay at Astoria was awesome. The receptionist was very welcoming and always greeted with a smile. The staff was very active in resolving any problems. I booked a classic suite and the only negative point i saw was that the blanket was a bit smelly and that could be due to damp weather. Not sure if that issue was with all the rooms but I adjusted with it since other facilities were good.

Good Stay
Hotel is well maintained and staff was good. The rooms are are good size. Hotel is located at a convenient location and main road. Caution point to note- there is hot timing for hot water morning 7 to 11am and evening 7pm to 11pm Rest everything was good.

The hotel was very neat and clean and tidy. The rooms were clean and staff courteous and professional in all aspects including handling their policy. The location of hotel is good. Only setback was that they don't have an inhouse restaurant but they do provide cutlerys and water filter and complimentary tea and coffee stuffs
