You must be seeking solitude and ready for a bit adventurous to enjoy the most at the resort. Its a difficult terrain, a rain forest where the resort is located, still the amenities were top notch

Every thing was good , Raw property because of rain forest rooms are highly humid and wet . No Ac No tv will allow you a great family time . Best food I ever had

We had a very peaceful and serene time at the Vythiri resort, property location in the middle of rain forest is great, Food was awesome, amenities are available however since it was raining we could only use indoor ones. WiFi(need to connect each time I come back) and accessibility for aged people needs to be improved

Once in a life time experience. Ambience of forest and the facility arrangement was top noch. All staff were very interactive and professional. We booked during the week days, hence crowd was bit low. For me and my wife it was a mixed feeling, sometimes feel’s scary due to the dense forest ambience, food was good, staffs were cooperative. Only thing which me and my wife informed the facility was the odour of bedsheet and pillow other than that everything was good. Truly once in a life time experience.

I stayed at Vythri Resort and it was an amazing experience! The food was delicious with a great variety, and the staff were very polite and attentive. The lush greenery, flowing river stream, and rainforest surroundings made me feel like I was living in the lap of Mother Nature. The property is beautifully maintained and offers a peaceful, immersive experience. Truly unforgettable!

The location is amazing, mid of the forest and the water stream passing next to the room was stunning experience, lot of water in August…it was raining continuous. Continuous loud water flowing noise, may be disturbing for people don’t like sound. Lot of birds and other rain forest species like snail, millipede, all large in size…and so many monkeys. The location is 3 km drive from main road, narrow and bit scary road in rain and dark…in dry season elephant may cross this road…one side is steep hill which is scary. The private pool inside room is clean and good quality water, water warm enough. Restaurant and food varieties were excellent. Even for evening tea and snack there are many items unlimited. The indoor and outdoor play areas well maintained and all needed like football, basket ball, table tenis racket/ball, cue stick etc are available nearby the place so that we don’t need to ask anyone and wait to bring them. Reception service could have been better, many not much experienced enough. Nature walk is free but disappointing, the guide unprofessional. So many leeches, be careful if you have allergic skin or leech phobia…take care of yourself and stay away.

Our stay at Vythiri Resort was truly unforgettable. The highlight was the nature walk through the rainforest and the breathtaking waterfalls, which made us feel completely immersed in nature. The hospitality was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious and well-prepared, adding to the overall experience. The room we stayed in had a direct view of a beautiful stream flowing by, which was both soothing and refreshing. Waking up to the sound of flowing water was magical. Overall, Vythiri Resort offers the perfect blend of comfort, natural beauty, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, relaxation, and a deep connection with nature.

We had booked this resort for the 15th August long weekend, 3 nights - about 5 months back (so well in advance - this also meant that we did have other choices, at decent prices, available). We were 5 people (1 couple in their 30s and 3 senior citizens: 60-70 years of age). We had booked 1 Tree House and 1 Pool Villa. Firstly, some positives: (1) Great location, (2) Very courteous staff, (3) You can truly spend a quiet weekend here, (4) They have a separate Ayurvedic wellness center and a separate spa, (5) Pool villa can host 6 adults (ie 2 extra adults) comfortably. Both are good but slightly pricey. Some, not so positives: (1) Tree House is absolutely overrated. We were not told that it takes ~10 minutes of off-roading to get to a Tree House. We had plans to spend time together - which meant that we ended up spending time in our booked Pool Villa (by having 1 extra mattress) - technically even if we had not booked a Tree House, we would have been just fine, (2) The resort is NOT senior-citizen friendly. Merely to go for a meal - we had to do quite a hike (cross the small river flowing through the resort, climb ~25-30 steep stairs --- We should have done better research - it is completely our fault, (3) In-house activities are limited and they become even more limited if it is rains continuously, (4) Food is just about alright (but the staff is superb), (5) All in all, this doest not feel like a 4 star property. It is more a 3-star with an additional star assigned only for the location - Little extra money and one can go for the likes of Taj Wayanad (We were looking for this property) but somehow switched to Vythiri. To the Vythiri staff: Sorry for the harsh review, but it is what it is. :-/

A nice place to stay amidst nature. Hospitality was top notch, esp the restaurant staff. Food was good and customised on demand. Rooms amenities can be better. With no AC in rooms and high humidity, the rooms were damp and caused allergic itch in nose and throat. Everything in room caught moisture, be it bed sheet, cloths kept in wardrobe, etc. That’s the area of improvement.

I recently stayed at Vythiri Resort in Wayanad, and it was an experience worth remembering. Surrounded by lush greenery and set amidst the serene beauty of the Western Ghats, the resort truly feels like a peaceful escape from city life.

Pros: Location is very nice. Neatly maintained rooms. Food is good. Hospitality is good. Cons: Not suitable for elderly.

I recently spent a day at this resort, and it is very good experience! The food was absolutely amazing! Each meal was thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service at the resort was too good — prompt and professional ever being intrusive. The surroundings were peaceful and the ambiance was relaxing. The room can be maintained little clean. More insects entered into the room.

The resort is in the midst of a forest and has an amazing atmosphere. We had a good day here and food was decent. Dinner in particular had many good options
