We had the pleasure of staying at Taj Gateway Coonoor a stunning heritage property, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! The property is meticulously maintained, preserving its rich history and charm. The hospitality was top-notch, with warm and attentive staff making us feel right at home. The suite was extremely luxurious with 1000 sq ft in size. Neat and clean rooms with rich colonial designs. The scenic views from the Gateway Coonoor were breathtaking, and the surrounding landscape was perfect for exploration. It’s a paradise of flowers and breathtaking scenery across the property. But what truly stole the show was the exceptional food - every meal was a culinary masterpiece! Overall, I highly recommend this heritage Gateway Coonoor for its unique blend of history, natural beauty, and outstanding hospitality.

Taj Gateway Coonoor is a property that captures your heart the moment you walk in. With its heritage charm, sprawling landscaped gardens, and panoramic views, this place feels like a timeless postcard. Our room was spacious, elegant, and full of character, maintaining the perfect balance between old-world charm and modern comfort. The food was outstanding, and the walks around the property were peaceful and visually stunning—greenery as far as the eye can see! A stay here is more than just a vacation; it’s an experience soaked in serenity and class. A must-visit when in the Nilgiris.

My stay in Gateway Coonoor was great. Booked the property looking at beautiful landscape around it. Whole property is surrounded by flowers, plants and trees as old as 100 years. Located near the church it provides a beautiful background. Location wise it is near to a market where you have many eateries and souveniour shops. Breaksfast buffet was good with a good amount of spread. Perfect for a vacation where you can just stay in the property and enjoy the nature.

Tranquil property, but the views were cut off by the hedges. The rooms were incredible, big houses with cosy rooms, excellent construction to keep the weather away. A beautiful heritage theme across all the rooms. Remaining facilities were just about okay, any normal resort quality. Location is also very close to the shopping and food area. A small walk away were the beautiful Pizzerias, to save you from the exorbitant rates at their in house restaurant

The Gateway Coonoor has to be one of the most charming Gateway Coonoors in India. Add the typical Tajness to it and you get an experience to cherish. The food is good, the property is impeccable and the smiles are in abundance. Highly recommend. 1 star less than 5 because the accessibility in the property is a problem especially for the presidential villa.

The location of the property, food and facilities are excellent. It is like staying at home however with 5 star comfort. The staff are polite and go out of their to ensure that the guests are comfortable. However the facilities provided to drivers should be improved.

Amazing property and maintenance. Staff are courteous. The service is a bit slower but its ok. They seem to have their own nursery although it is not, thats the number of flowers n plants they have through the property. Old european architecture, very nice indeed.

Excellent hospitality and stay experience at Gateway Conoor. The whole experience including food, rooms and staff behaviour was simply awesome. The resort being an over 180 year old property was magnificently maintained and truly showcase Taj hospitality.

Amazing Location for relaxing and recharging

Overall stay was good and peaceful. This is heritage property so rooms are awesome as the architecture of the rooms are like palace type. Food is also good.

Gateway Coonoor is a great place to stay. Property is nicely managed. They have a team of great support staff. Food is quite exceptional. Scenic view is quite remarkable
