Located at a very convenient and scenic spot in the town, offering excellent food at breakfast as well as dinner, served with personal attention, care and convenience. All the staff sporting a smile from checkin to checkout. Memorable.

Location was good and food was very good . The chef and people in the restaurant were taking care very taking care personally. There was a spa which is not mentioned in the website . Service was good All in all a good place to relax

Hospitality,cleanliness is excellent,vegetarian food and desert is excellent and non veg only if u order separately is good in buffet non vegetarian is 2.5 /5 as I ordered fish dish it was very good same fish item and other non veg (chicken and mutton) was only so so .. so in buffet try vegetarian

Excellent hospitality and stay experience at Gateway Conoor. The whole experience including food, rooms and staff behaviour was simply awesome. The resort being an over 180 year old property was magnificently maintained and truly showcase Taj hospitality.

Amazing property and maintenance. Staff are courteous. The service is a bit slower but its ok. They seem to have their own nursery although it is not, thats the number of flowers n plants they have through the property. Old european architecture, very nice indeed.

Gateway Coonoor is a great place to stay. Property is nicely managed. They have a team of great support staff. Food is quite exceptional. Scenic view is quite remarkable

The Gateway Coonoor has to be one of the most charming hotels in India. Add the typical Tajness to it and you get an experience to cherish. The food is good, the property is impeccable and the smiles are in abundance. Highly recommend. 1 star less than 5 because the accessibility in the property is a problem especially for the presidential villa.

We had requested for an upgrade or a room with a better view if upgrade was not possible, however as checked independently there were few rooms which was available as it was not 100% occupancy, but we were allotted a corner room with no view and our room was beside the kitchen cleaning and laundry cleaning area where across night noise was coming, even after paying such hefty amount for rooms and considering such reputed hotel, we expect a decent and reputed stay.

It’s an amazing property, very beautiful. We had a very pleasant and chill stay. Service is excellent

My stay in Gateway Coonoor was great. Booked the property looking at beautiful landscape around it. Whole property is surrounded by flowers, plants and trees as old as 100 years. Located near the church it provides a beautiful background. Location wise it is near to a market where you have many eateries and souveniour shops. Breaksfast buffet was good with a good amount of spread. Perfect for a vacation where you can just stay in the property and enjoy the nature.

The location of the property, food and facilities are excellent. It is like staying at home however with 5 star comfort. The staff are polite and go out of their to ensure that the guests are comfortable. However the facilities provided to drivers should be improved.

The location was good. The campus was well maintained. Food was TAJ quality. The room was too warm, with out cross ventilation or air conditioning, the room was too warm even in the night, this issue MUST be sorted out.
