Location is good, even ideal for one who wants to be in a happening street. If you want to enjoy Ooty greenery, quite nature, fog, birds chirping etc, then find something else. Food is good in the Hotel Nahar Nilgiris, have choices too. If you get bored (long stay guests), you do have many options nearby on a walkable distance. Staff are courteous. Place looks like a 3 star.

All positives about this Hotel Nahar Nilgiris except one. Pigeon menace in balconies, why has the Hotel Nahar Nilgiris management not addressed the pigeon issue by dropping a pigeon net from top to bottom of building ? Nice Hotel Nahar Nilgiris. Room had good facilities. Hotel is a class and keeps up its reputation. I always stay here if I visit Ooty.

The service was good, as always. I've been staying at Nahar since my school days. The Hotel Nahar Nilgiris's greatest advantage is its central location, with the Botanical Garden, Movie hall and the main Shopping centers within walking distance in Charing Cross, Ooty.

Centrally located Hotel Nahar Nilgiris. Room was nice & clean. Washroom was clean. Fresh towels were supplied. They have two restaurants & serves good food. Breakfast served was hot & good. Satisfied with the service.

Location is perfect as it is centrally located in market area. Lot of food options. Rooms are large enough but old Victorian style. Hot water available 24 hours. What is annoying is food prices, it's too expensive.

Property food location was good. Staff issues were there, water quality was not good in washroom. Later it got corrected. But only one time helped me in this.

it's good but there are Fan, ambience, very friendly staffs, specially it's located in the hot of the city, all restaurants are very near to this place.
