The Serai Bandipur

Our experience overall at Serai was fantastic. The service and the staff are exceptional and take care of all your needs. The resort is huge with a lot of amenities, we thoroughly enjoyed our nature walk with the in-house resort naturalist! The room was very spacious with a nice sit out area and a lot of complimentary stuff. Breakfast options are plenty, and the South Indian food was very good. Their coffee and baked goods need some improvement, though. It was a short visit and we missed out on the safari, but would love to return someday in the future for the great Serai experience. 🙂

Good location, excellent staff, well maintained. The stay was awesome. Restaurant is good too, with a very good spread for breakfast. Choices for lunch and dinner had few limitations especially for vegetarians but was ok. The property is awesome for bird watchers. Very relaxing experience! The property also provides booking for the Bandipur forest safari with a tie up with the government but not confirmed ahead of your stay. One safari is generally guaranteed by the Serai Bandipur team.

It is located in the buffer area of Bandipur. May be there are only 4 luxury properties here including Serai. Do not go with the expectation of this being similar or Serai Chikmagalur. This being inside the forest area, it is meant for wildlife enthusiasts. A large number of spotted deers come visiting the resort every evening. Peacocks too. We didn’t opt for safari so can’t say much about that. Food was top class. Overall it was a good family time we had

We had a fantastic stay here! The location is excellent, and the hospitality is top-notch. The views from the restaurant are simply breathtaking. The rooms are neat and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The morning nature walk was a highlight, and we even spotted some beautiful deer in the surrounding area. The breakfast spread was delicious and extensive, and dinner was great too. Overall, a wonderful experience!

The location of the resort in the forest is peaceful and awesome for the stay. For the children play area the eco friendly bicycle drive avails in the resort, from the room we can see the forest and animals like deer in the open area. Only thing is we want to book the room and experience it, the tiger safari too. The manager and everyone in the resort were treated well.

Food was delicious. The location of sanctuary (the restaurant) was awesome. We spotted some wild boars, deers, peacocks during our nature walk. A bit of maintenance is required in the amenities. Please add hi-tea. More indoor games like badminton court for kids would be appreciated. The mobile internet as well as wi-fi connectivity is very limited.

The property has an amazing view of Nilgiri hills. The restaurant has some of the best resort food I have tasted. The rooms are very spacious and nature walks are a must.

The property is truly a good place to stay and switch off from the busy city life. It lets you breath fresh air and spend quality time with your family. The best part is the no network zone which allows you to explore the nature and give yourself the time to calm and relax.

Had a great stay at Serai Bandipur. Rooms were spacious, staff were hospitable and location was excellent - adjacent to forest and we were able to spot deers peacock and variety of birds from our room! Wide breakfast spread and nice food too.

Everything is good. However, it would have been worth the money if they included lunch and dinner in the package.

Property is good. Road to Serai Bandipur is bad. Please contact the property for alternative route. Food is good. In one of the meals the Seasoning was off in all the dishes. Other meals were good. Staff is polite and helpful. Property is good. One of the rooms had problems and flush did not work.

Right from checkin to check out the experience was awesome! The staff were extremely professional and polite always ready to help and care for. This is our fourth time here and the place is ever green...literally. The views of the hills is magical. Food is delicious. Nothing disappoints. Will be there again!
