My overall experience at the resort was a mix of beautiful surroundings and a few areas for improvement. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled right in the midst of forest and nature, it offers a peaceful and refreshing escape from the city. The food was one of the highlights of the stay — everything was delicious with plenty of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I especially loved the health counter with mixed herbs and turmeric shots — they were not only tasty but also felt rejuvenating. The soups were also flavorful and comforting. However, the rooms were quite average compared to expectations. We had booked a luxury cottage, but the experience didn’t quite match the description. The bed made noise with even the slightest movement, the bedspread and blankets were not clean, and there were no room fresheners. The towels provided were dirty, and the water flow in the sink and toilet was very low. On a positive note, the private jacuzzi was an excellent addition — it was clean, relaxing, and truly enhanced the stay. The staff were polite, well-behaved, and accommodating throughout our visit, which made a big difference. With a bit more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness, this place could easily become a perfect nature getaway.

We recently stayed at Red Earth Resort, Kabini with family and had an absolutely wonderful time! Right from check-in, the warmth and hospitality of the front office team stood out — a special mention to Agnes Ma’am, who was exceptional in every way. She ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay and made the evening night trail a truly memorable experience with her guidance and care. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained; housekeeping did a great job. The food was delicious with a wide variety, and the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed spending time at the bar and activity room, which added to the fun. The resort’s cleanliness, natural beauty, and peaceful setting make it a perfect place to unwind. Overall, the service excellence and attention to detail by the entire team truly made our stay special. A Memorable Stay at Red Earth Kabini

I recently stayed at Red Earth Kabini and had a wonderful experience. The location is breathtaking, with a stunning view of the kabini backwaters and a calm, peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The sunset views and the serene atmosphere, apart from the coracle ride were the unforgettable highlights of our trip. The hospitality of the staff stood out—they were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more special. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the in-room TV had access to Netflix, Prime, and other OTT platforms which was a nice bonus for relaxing indoors. The open-air Jacuzzi experience was decent, though there were a couple of minor issues. Warm water was available only between 6–9 PM, and due to the natural setting with red earth surroundings, there were some ants and small worms around despite cleaning efforts. While this is understandable given the earthy, open setup, it’s worth noting for those who are particular about such things. We also went on a jungle safari (paid separately), which was a good experience even though we didn’t spot a tiger during our early morning ride from 6–9 AM. Overall, it was a perfect mix of nature, comfort, and relaxation.

Our stay at the Rad Earth was exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, especially the front desk team, who were always helpful and responsive. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and nice amenities. The location was also great, within walking distance of many attractions. The only minor issue was the breakfast buffet, which could have had more vegetarian options. Overall Experience at Red Earth was Very good. All the Resort Team were very Courteous. Resort is full of Trees and Nature which was rejuvenating. Cottages were spacious and a private jacuzee. Bathrooms are very Huge. would have like to have Bath Tub. The major highlight is the Kabini river/ backwater so adjacent to the Resort which is just a few steps away. you can see the illuminated Kabini Dam from the backside in the evening when it is dark. The Food was very good. They have a excellent spread of Buffet and also accomodated to prepare Jain Food. The Jeep safari in the afternoon was one of the Best experience we could have with 2 Tiger sightings, Elephants, indian gaurs, wild boars and lot of Deers and Birds. Walking around the property in the night was so much peaceful and you can sit around entire night look and hearing the Nature. With so many Trees and plants around has some drawbacks as there would be flies and insects around which is very difficult to control. Team can increase a bit more lighting to move much more easily and also around the Coffee point on the Backside. Due to hectic schedule could not explore many more amenities like pool, Nature walks, Bird Watching etc. Cost is a bit on the Luxurious side and definitely would be great if can become more affordable for frequent visits Overall had a great time. looking forward for the next adventure...

familyAs much as i appreciate the eco centric principles of the property, i do think the rooms and the common areas require a little more tlc. The luxury cottages need some repairs and the outdoor area attached to the cottages are not of much use. For the tariff being charged for the rooms the experience is not justified.

Though the place has all the facilities along with good food, we were disappointed as our evening got spoil t waiting for jacuzzi to have hot water and to fill up, which never happened. On calling the reception, maintenance there was no response or help. We had to go till the front desk to seek help but here was nobody there either. The luxury cottage which we had opted was with jacuzzi, to be operational between 6pm to 9pm, our ask and expectations were well within the offered time slot. Secondly, as a part of the package there was assured early checkin and late check out, which was not made available as they were running on full occupancy. 34k for. One night with an entire evening getting wasted has been very disappointing.

Mixed feelings and experience about red earth kabini

Our stay at red earth was rather mixed. Cons : 1. The room had termites behind the bed and the room cleanliness was a sham. 2. The in-room jacuzzi not working properly. 3. The path to our room was not lit properly which can be a concern since it's full of greenery and with it comes insects and reptiles. 4. A frog right outside our door with porch light not working. 5. One of the guests claimed that there was a snake outside the bathroom, the resort denies it, we personally haven't seen it, so can't confirm. 6. You might assume the jungle safari jeep is only for hotel guests, but upon reaching the national park, you might find more people being accommodated stating it's a 10 seater. Pros : 1. Restaurant was very accomodative and helpful of our jain food request. 2. Spa experience was good. 3. Huge property and since the resort is on the banks of river kabini it is refreshing and peaceful.

Regarding the jungle safari, these are managed by the forest department, and exclusive safaris cannot be guaranteed, as they accommodate multiple guests. familyResort is right in the middle of a natural setup. Really good food. Rooms can be better, but for a remote place, it is great. One might face network issues on this area. Wifi is available in the rooms, but not in the restaurants. Great view of the river from the cafe.
