Kabini Lake View Resort

Beautiful Resort with a great lake view. Nearby site seeing is also worth watching. The food was delicious. Overall hospitality was amazing

Stay was excellent Food taste and quality is awesome. Kind and friendly staff. Camp fire was also nice Highly recommend.

I would like to express my gratitude for the accommodation at Kabini Resort, where the room servant, Mr. Shivu, provided good service. However, our overall experience was disappointing. we were promised individual cottages with separate rooms and toilets for our two families, but were instead given rooms with separate bedrooms but a shared washroom. The manager's assurance to arrange separate cottages the next day wasn't fulfilled. We were also disappointed with the lack of basic amenities like milk powder, sugar, tea, and coffee outside of designated tea times. The resort's suggestions for nearby attractions were inaccurate, recommending the elephant camp, which has been closed for a long Back. The two-day stay was insufficient to experience all Kabini has to offer. While the food tasted good, the menu was repetitive, with the same non-veg gravy and jeera rice/pulao served for both lunch and dinner. Cleanliness was an issue, with no room spray or naphthalene balls in the toilet, and Wi-Fi was unavailable. the experience was not worth it.

The rooms were not at all worth 10 k , max it looks like 1 k to 2 k rooms with cob webs, leaked washroom, understaffed. The manager is very rude and does not picks up calls to address the issues , property and room requires maintenance, certainly not worthy of 10 k, total waste of money.

I found this place through MMT. A very nice place for a short weekend trip. The staff is very good, helpful & smiling. If you want to enjoy nature & the garden area then this is the right place. Don't expect the food to be mouthwatering. The food here is average.

Myself and and wife were searching for resorts near kabini for our Anniversary. Found this stay randomly while searching on MMT. But I would say it's really worth. The place has very big open space to hang around. It has lake infront of it which gives you good vibe. They have arranged bonfire as well which was really awesome. Food was also good. And the staffs very polite and helpful.

Location is a big positive for this property which is right by the Kabini river. Food served is also decent and at reasonable price. Need to improve on the quality of room and amenities given the price point. Plastic glass in the room is not at all acceptable at a resort.

Was ok. Food is not up to the mark. Not a value for money. Just hyped because you have less options in Kabini

Good Hotel,very cooperative staff even arranged Jain food for us,met all requirements... would surely recommend..good property... Although the property needs to install more indoor activities and games.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money We specifically searched for a property with a swimming pool and were drawn to this place based on photos showing one. To our shock, the hotel in-charge informed us upon arrival that there is no swimming pool on the property, . Secondly, the access road to the hotel is in terrible condition. During just one night, I had to go out three times to get food and basic items because the in-house dining was far too expensive (even a single starter costs ₹150). This led to three of my car tires getting punctured – a frustrating and avoidable ordeal if better infrastructure or clearer warnings had been provided. The only saving grace was that the room itself was well maintained and the staff were genuinely warm and friendly. Their hospitality is appreciated, but unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the misrepresentation and other inconveniences. Would not recommend unless these issues are addressed.

A small break of 2 days to Kabini lake view resort , a good destresser of sorts . The first day enjoyed the serene location with so much green around us , which gave a soothing effect to the minds and the cool breeze in the balcony with the shades of huge trees , the effect of Malayalam massage was fully enjoyed . The second day started with a small walk into the tiny village , in a search of a cup of tea in vain . Villages have the luxury of no hurried life like the cities , everything was at God’s pace ( calm and cool) . A quiet breakfast gave us a good time to watch a wonderful event of very tiny birds called robins with the size of hardly 2 inches long , which occasionally spread its tail like a peacock , as a show off to us . The water in the park outside the cottage was sprinkled on the trees and these birds , getting drenched in the splash , shirking the water and go for a fight against the water , displaying its courage and might . A playful event which lasted about an hour and it was so interesting to watch them play in water , and also showing it off to us . The lunch followed the safari by 3.30pm , lucky to spot the tiger in the reserve , was told it was 2 years old , sat in the pond for 10 minutes , walked with the majesty of a lion and walked into the jungle , not to be seen for the day . There were a few more animals like the elephant , wild boar , Indian gaur and beautiful spotted deers , antelopes , sambar deer , the lagoons ( said to be the cameras of the forest ) were aplenty . Not to miss the long tailed huge black squirrel, the serpentine eagle . A heartful of the nature’s creation , ended the day back to the jungle lodge and our resort . The thought and sight of nature , takes our mind in a different direction from the regular monotony of city life .

We had an excellent stay. Super service. The food was great. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

The room photos showed and room we get was entirely different. We didn't get the wooden cottage as shown while booking. But the room was clean. Food was good. But didn't feel it was worth. No wify in the room, tv available not working and there's no other amenities also. They arranged jeep safari 3k per head which is also expensive and we just found few deers and one elephant in the entire safari(which was also a disappointment. Connecting road to resort is pathetic. Overall not worth for the price.

Not worth the price for sure property is good but room was terrible foul damp smell dental kit only on request. No table to keep stuff no soap holder in bathroom breakfast and lunch are served 30 mins late than mentioned food is okay manager behaviour is good. But the room needs a serious ramp up for justifying the price

The stay at kabini lake view resort was very good and conformable. The cottage was neat and clean. The support staff were always ready to offer any help. The food was excellent. The manager of the resort mr. Lenesh was there always to offer any help. Our stay on the whole was memorable. Having said that the toilet and fittings need modification.

The resort is in a good location. They can also arrange paid jungle safari. However overall hospitality was below average. Food options were not there. They only serve one veg starter, roti, one curry, rice, sambhar and one sweet.

Kabini lake resort is a good budget hotel in kabini, with lots of garden space and views of the kabini backwaters service and food is good. You will have a nice time here.
