Waterwoods Resorts enjoys a stunning location right beside the Kabini Backwaters, offering breathtaking views from almost every part of the property—a true highlight of our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. It was especially heartwarming to hear them speak in Kannada, which is a rare and comforting touch when traveling. Our check-in was smooth, and we headed straight to lunch, which was pleasantly light and flavorful without overpowering spices. As if the beautiful setting wasn’t enough, a light summer drizzle added a magical touch to the atmosphere, making our afternoon even more enjoyable. In the evening, we watched a wildlife documentary organized by the resort, followed by dinner, which once again impressed us with its simple yet delicious taste. The following morning, we went on a jeep safari arranged through the property, and everything was handled professionally. We returned to the resort for breakfast; however, this was the only aspect that left us a bit underwhelmed. The breakfast spread leaned heavily towards non-vegetarian options, with limited choices for vegetarians, which felt unbalanced considering the buffet is priced equally for all. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall experience was fantastic. The ambience, amenities, and hospitality were top-notch. I’d definitely recommend the resort and hope they consider enhancing the breakfast variety to better cater to all guests. We had a truly beautiful and refreshing time.

Excellent property. well maintained. no questions there. Slightly expensive but we could afford. We stayed for two days. We relaxed and had a boat ride and day 1. Lunch was really good. Dinner was underwhelming. on day 2 everything was good. on day 2 we went for bus safari at nagarhole and to our luck we saw a tiger in rainy season and lush green forest. That's itself made it worth it. We also went to boat safari which was okay but at the end we saw a huge crocodile very close. It was scary but a once in a life experience. overall except for 1 lunch everything was perfect. At this price I think there is no room for error.

The property is very beautiful, location is Westmeath, food is excellent and staffs are very polite and helpful. it's worth visiting the property . my kid had a great time playing in the pool and kabini river. They have arranged for paid jungle safari which was the highlight of the trip. we have spotted wild elephants , tiger , deer, wild bore ,mangoose , rare species of squirrel ,different kinds of birds .

There was an urgent need to change my date of stay at Kabini due to family exigencies. Mohit from MMT has been extremely helpful and was able to follow up and ensure this is taken care of. I know this might not have been easy but your focus and responsible nature, is truly appreciated. And nonetheless Waterwood resorts team has also been immensely understanding and cooperative.thanks for your support

A very good resort surrounded by nature. Each room has river view so we can have a nice glimpse of waterflow. River safari was great n fabulous. Resort has reserved spots for various activities including yoga. Rooms are decent. Staffs are excellent n I appreciate their prompt n fast service. Food spread are limited but was very tasty. Overall it was good n great experience.

The property is very calm and the food is too good and homly. Not a very crowded area. Limited families at a time. The staff is very humble. You will definitely take home a bundle of peace and beautiful memories. Both water and land safari are a different experience. Do try both.

Overall Stay and food was excellent 👌 the kids enjoyed the vacation with the beautiful back waters 😍 Food was very tasty 😋 Overall I fell in love with the place 🫶 Whoever looking for peaceful vacation with good stay and good food I recommend this place for sure ✌️😁

EXCELLENT experience at the waterwood lodge while we were there for a day. The view from the lake is breathtaking, which complemented the delicious lunch & dinner. Look forward to visiting again.

Great location right on the kabini reservoir edge. Right next to JLR which conducts jungle safari. Had a good boat ride in house too. Good food and decent rooms. Good for family too.

The stay and food was good. I was a bit disappointed with MakeMyTrip since the package does not have any other facilities like safari or boat ride. The rates were much higher compared to the resort if I had booked it directly.

very nice scenic place, with extremely cooperative staff. rooms with river view are nice & clea. with all basic amenities in place. stay for 2 days for a relaxing weekend and just take a chill at Hotel
