Kaav Safari Lodge

An outstanding lodge! Beautiful surroundings and rooms, courteous and professional staff, delicious food! The lodge offers an intimate sanctuary next to the forest. We had a range of activities to see wildlife and local rural life. With only several rooms at the Lodge, we were treated like family. The two naturalists are exceptional and we learned so much about the wildlife in the adjacent reserve and river. The Chef and his team prepared a variety of delicious regional Indian and international food for every meal with local ingredients from milk to eggs, fruit and vegetables. We wish we had booked an extra day as we truly did not want to leave.

Way too over priced for the food and amenities it offers. The pool did not look clean. Whilst the staff were polite and always cooperative, everything else at the hotel was average at best. The usable areas at the Hotel are a bit closed in and not expansive like other hotels in the area charging similar prices.

Loved the resort, the hospitality, the food and the overall experience. Would highly recommend if you're looking for something closer to the forest :)

Property is extremely overpriced, they have not maintained the property, not cleaning the pool for a month it seems and the balcony pillow was completely black, no ambiance, not sufficient place to walk around inside the property also, no tourist places nearby, they don't have even basic things in the room like clean towel, telephone, toothbrush, kettle, there staff will knock the gate every 30mintues for everything since they dont have anything else to communicate. You can easily get this kind of property for 3-4k. They are taking 26k+taxes which comes to around 35k for just one day its extremely overpriced.

We had a great experience with the kaav, the staff was incredibly helpful. The room was stunning, clean and perfect to celebrate a birthday. Special mention to divya, she was warm, helpful and very supportive. Keep up the good work!

The location is approachable. The hospitality was really good. They were really upfront about the cost of jungle safari and all the other activities which was great they took good care of us. Only con was that the tents see not sound prof enough. You can actually hear what people outside are talking about. And they could use a dehumidifier in the tents.

Everything about the KAAV was exceptional. It was clean, stylish and rooms were with excellent service. Food was really good and great value for money, service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. We had a tiny safari and had pawsome time with our furry friend Mr. Toto.

Our stay at Kaav Resort in Kabini was truly exceptional. The tents were luxurious and well-appointed, providing the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. The safari organized by the resort was professional and well-guided, allowing us to witness the magnificent wildlife of the region up close. However, the true star of our trip was Toto, the property dog, whose playful and affectionate nature added an extra layer of joy to our experience. Overall, our stay at Kaav Resort was a delightful combination of excellent food, helpful staff, unforgettable glamping, and cherished encounters with wildlife and Toto. We highly recommend this resort for an unforgettable getaway in Kabini.

I i didn’t find a single valid reason why you are not allowed childrens below 10 years. Had worst experience of booking by cancel-ling for one family with kid and moving out for another property which was really great. Very complicated matter. Because of this silly reason our family vacation was bad staying apart

The staff were good, humble and very cooperative. The food was good. The tent room was quite different initially and eventually turned out to be a nice experience. Overall staying at kaav was a good experience.

Amazing food, great host (divya) and decent accommodation in the middle of the forest. Little safari, cycling and boating were nice too.

Firstly this is a bungalow which is converted into a luxury home stay with just six rooms and staff with your caretaker. Absolutely not worth the price per night for a couple and child. I just had to continue my stay because there was no refund as per process. While the food was great and the staff was courteous i find zero value for money paying per night. The property is very shabby and the gardens or not maintained. The only thing good is the stay and the swimming pool which is well maintained but you have nothing to do while at the property apart from sitting in the room the deck or the pool.

Amazing staff, good food, clean rooms
