Review Of Waterwoods Lodges & Resorts

Nice property on tha banks of Kabini and it was a big room as I had booked Superior King category, but the bathroom set up was not up to my liking although it was huge. There was no option for me to choose a room in that category as I guess better rooms were occupied when I checked in. The staff were otherwise courteous and helpful. Food had limited options but the quality and taste was great, they were also accommodative of special requests. I was most impressed with the hospitality and beautiful view of the river and western ghats from the balcony / sit out area. The resort is very close to the safari pick up point / JLR property.

Food was not upto the mark not maintained properly, cleanliness was lacking. Not worth for the money

We had a lovely stay at Waterwoods Kabini! The staff were warm and helpful, the food was amazing, and the property felt calm and relaxing. The river was full due to the rains — almost looked like a beach! It rained all day, so we couldn’t explore much, but we still enjoyed our time there. The only downside is the last 10 km of road, which is a bit rough. Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience!

Stay was excellent but food was just average!

The stay and hospitality was great. The surrounding place is really beautiful and peaceful. We were able to cover safari & kayaking, which were great.

The property is pricy. Not worth the money at all. They are charging bomb for mediocre rooms. The view of the Kabini reservoir is really beautiful, but the stay and food itself is pretty average.

The room was spacious and clean.very close to the river.staff was good.food was very good,not a lot of spread though.

great location... this place is very hot to the national park gate. the staff here is very polite and courteous

Property is at serene back waters of kabini.. our river view room is awesome... Food is good ... Staff were helpful ... Kayaking was gud.. wild life jeep and boat safari points are close to the resort .... nice experience

pleasant stay if river facing rooms are opted, I think cuisine could be added with more options. However what ever served was top quality and sufficient. they had all three options in non vegetarian mutton, chicken and fish!

The resort is not big but is nicely maintained. The food spread was also not a lot but it was tasty. The view we had was very good. Location is just next to Jungle lodges. We did not use the pool but it also looked very good.

my stay at Waterwood Lodge seems to have been a wonderful experience. i enjoyed a relaxing boat ride and the serene, natural beauty of the lakeside. The unique, large tree also made for a great photo opportunity, highlighting the peaceful surroundings of the lodge. It looks like it was a perfect getaway.

It was a nice and pleasant stay. Food is good but taste should get improve.Staff are polite and responsive.And Roads are not too good for sedan cars

"We had a great stay! The resort's riverside location was stunning, but high water levels limited access to the grassy areas. Despite this, the setting was perfect for relaxation. The food was excellent, with a good spread and flexible staff at the live counters. Rooms were clean, though some areas showed signs of aging. Our Wooden Deck Tree Room was unique, but the deck felt slightly unstable for multiple people. Overall, a wonderful experience with some room for improvement."

Property is ok, Good and clean. But services some improvements required. And They informed that they will show. Mini video on activities and info of wildlife. But not done. Most importantly FOR Glass Water Bottle, they are charging Exorbitant price of ₹.120/- + 18% GSTExtra. I noticed NO MRP Printed on water bottle. And when I asked for MRP on water bottle they became answerless and as pe to be charged for Glass water bottle, it is included in MRP.

We had booked a junior room for 2 nights. Well the ambience of the resort is overall OK. Rooms lack privacy, at least the one we got had a balcony which can be seen from the pool and the restaurant. Also it is quite tough to justify the price they are charging for. Toiletries were of very average quality. Food spreads were pretty below average for breakfast. It felt more like a restaurant breakfast and not like a resort one. I would not recommend this place as there are better alternatives in the area.
