We were on a grand road trip in our self driven car from Kolkata to South India. Ooty was one of our destinations. Our visit in Ooty was perfectly complemented by the stay at The Barons. A beautiful property and polite staff, our stay here would be a cherished memory.

Good experience with this hotel kettle not there and water dispenser not worked

Baron hotel was good and they maintain a clean surrounding. Staff were friendly and responsive.they provide hot drinking water inside the room which is very convenient. Only thing missing was an exhaust fan in bathroom otherwise stay was comfortable and the restaurant was good.

High cost but very average service. Definitely would not recommend considering the cost. Food is also very average taste.

Location is near ooty lake. Peaceful stay. Staff is good and courteous . Limited breakfast options.

This hotel is mentioned as a three star but this hotel is not like a three star at all. It was very normal. There was not even a dental kit in the bathroom. When I saw the photo of this hotel, there were two chairs in the room but when I went there, there was only one. The morning breakfast was not very good and there was no variety.. The restaurant staff were all very polite. Please don't mention as a 3 star hotel. it's normal hotel only

I had booked a room with breakfast and the room I got was not liveable. I couldn’t breadth there also. I requested an upgrade and the guy at the helpdesk misbehaved, I had to speak to the manager, she was a sweet lady, who offered me an upgrade. But what i felt was, if someone is paying to live in a place like ooty, atleast make the room livable, have basic criteria of the room met at the property. I went on the images shown for the property, however it appears that those are downloaded images or not an image for classic and deluxe rooms available for booking.

The room was clean but no coffee tea sachet provided & even had to ask for the electric kettle. These are basics. No demo as how to use the television. Had to call several times for the demo but no response. The food was not good at all. Even breakfast food was not good. Coffee tea was like untouchables. Overall average experience.

Requested for hot water as gizzer was not working since afternoon, there was jo proper response. We did not get hot water. Its impossible to stay in ooty without hot water. Very irresponsible

Great stay, clean rooms, friendly staff and good view.

Food was good and location was also super good. Faced some issue with the cleanliness of bedsheets. Else everything was good.

Extremely pathetic - 1. never cleared rooms 2. staff behaviour extremely arrogant - at complimentary breakfast ill treated everyone. 3. breakfast got over after serving first set of tables. omlet server one-fourth piece. tea coffee was water.. people waiting in queue for 30 mins to get idli 4. no tea coffee refill in room

The stay was excellent. the overall experience was excellent and the hotel staff was also good and quite helpful.

The stay in Baron was comfortable and nice. The room was clean and the staff was also very helpful. We had our dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was good. The only problem that we faced that the tea bag and coffee powder was not replaced even after asking them to do. It was necessary since the Kitchen opens only at 8.00. Anyway this was just a minor problem that we faced otherwise the stay was really good. We would like to thank the management for the same. one more suggestion - For tourist like us it would really help if the staff is trained to advise the tourist of the places to visit in ooty. Nobody seems to know how to provide any advise when asked. Anyway once thanks for a wonderful experience.

Rooms are small. Awesome breakfast, but restaurant cleanliness was very bad. No adequate staff to clean and mop the place.

The hotel baron at ooty is good property it's actually 2 different buildings side by side located in a quiet area. Its not easy accessible to visit markets unless you have cab, autos are not easily available. The staff was helpful, rooms are ok. Rooms need facility to keep luggage properly as only one small cupboard isn't sufficient. Basic amenities like tissue roll weren't provided. Breakfast was average couldn't provide omlets or eggs for breakfast. We had dinner but it was poor

We had a pleasant stay at the baron and kemp's cave. I would like to applaud the sincere efforts of aksa and soumya in getting us a happy stay that my family (any customer) deserves. Aksa's sincere customer inclination shows up in everything she says and does, she's an asset to this property management team, she's amazing and hard-working. Soumya and her composure in handling customers with confidence is also something that i don't want to miss mentioning, she's fabulous too. Food was decently good and i would encourage them to keep up the quality and better it if possible. If someone were to be fixed, it's sanjay at the restaurant. His arrogance and attitude shows up in each move, rest of the boys at the restaurant are good. I would only appreciate better hygiene in the guys at the restaurant - it's important they're presentable and look clean at work. Overall, the property is an amazing stay. I'm sure a great team with aksa, soumya will get things in a better place. All the very best, aksa and soumya. As young managers, i'm sure you'll do an amazing job. I hope to come back to stay at your property again soon.

We would like to thank mm t and the baron group for a comfortable stay at the baron hotel. The rooms were neat and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and suppotive. The complementary breakfast was good including the dinner. The only problem was that the early morning tea/coffee was not available. The first day we used the instant tea coffee satchet that was provided in the room. But even after repeated request they did not replenish the stock. But otherwise all was good.

rooms were clean and fresh, food was too good and tasty. It’s a kids friendly stay, very much friendly staff
