Excellent Stay
Apart from good rooms, nice service, the best part of our stay was, Early Morning Natures walk (trekking) arranged by Kings cliff. Our guide Mr. Hari was an awesome and knowledgeable Naturalist. Anyone who wants to stay in Kings cliff, should surely try Morning nature walk with Mr. Hari.

Terrible Stay
My stay at the hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms were unhygienic, with dirty linens, foul odor, and poorly maintained bathrooms. The housekeeping staff seemed indifferent, and basic cleanliness standards were completely ignored. Overall, the experience was way below acceptable hospitality standards and not worth the cost.

Living life like Lord and Ladies
Kings cliff takes you back to the Raj Era. This beautiful heritage british bungalow is just perfect for those who want to have a feeling of the colonial era grand living. Hospitality is just awesome. Sanatan and Sanjay take care of everything like a magician. Their evening turned down service of keeping fruits, nuts , chocolate and the hot water bags were just awesome. Food is too good. Location perfect. Fire place in rooms gave that extra oomph factor. Awesome stay.

Amazing Experience
The property is located in vicinity of other prime properties in ooty. It is altogether an amazing experience to stay in a 100 year old plus property which was once owned by Britishers. The smiling faces of the employees in the property will win over your hearts. The view from the property is breath taking in the morning. At night the dimly decorated lights in the property will take you back to the British era period. Must recommend a stay for all who are going to Ooty at least for a day.

Best stay in Ooty!
The property is conveniently located a little away from the city crowd. Views are breathtaking almost feels like you are living in the clouds. Property is well maintained with beautiful rooms. Food is AMAZING! Probably one of the best you’ll find in Ooty. The dining experience makes you feel like you are dining in a British heritage building. 10/10 recommended.

The property is completely run down now, the staff is very freindly and helpful but the price we pay for the stay is not worth it. Food at earls secret restaurant is nice but again too expensive

1) we stayed 2 days in windsor room and stay was pleasant & comfortable. facilities are really nice n made us comfortable during cold weather 2) Breakfast buffet - pretty good food / crowd handling can be better 3 ) restaurant - food n ambience was really amazing 4 ) location was scenic during rains

Good Stay
Property was awesome with good scenic beauty. Few kids recreation like swings, slides etc can do wonders. Staff was really helpful to help my dad a senior citizen in moving around, however rooms were not equipped with few basic things like napkins, towels etc and has to be called for while they were prompt in responding but for signature rooms I feel service could have been a bit better. Overall experience was very good.

Excellent Stay
Property is located at a beautiful place. View from the room was just awesome. Huge spread for the breakfast. The staff are very polite and supportive. They always had a smile. House keeping staff were very good(Shanti ma). Kids can be engaged in playing outside which is a plus. With all these plus, one discomfort I had was that people were allowed to smoke within the property. This should be a big no. The serene natural beauty will be polluted because of this.

Our search for a heritage property to stay in ooty ended at king's cliff which was an ultimate colonial structure, boasting of an European lifestyle. Every piece of artwork and furniture echoed their rustic, pruned, ancient British era. The small cute villa type stays with a mini lounge , bedroom with a hearth, and a vast dressing cum wash was anybody's imagination. The glass house for dining and tea with a quaint ball room music surrounded by nature and flowers was icing on the cake. Nevertheless, what profoundly jolted us was the inhuman way of not providing even a cup of tea to the drivers of the clients. Where will they go after perching on that height. Atleast a minimal of a meal with a proper decent place to sleep should be available. With a heavy package of stay, definitely the drivers of the clients should be taken care of. When pets are allowed and taken care of, drivers are not meanial. Or in your heritage stay, should we call them chauffeur,.
