Dear hotel management, disappointing experience at doves goldfield i am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel from 28th december 2024. We had booked a suite in advance, but upon arrival, we were instead allotted a standard room. After a lengthy discussion with your staff, we were eventually given the suite we had paid for, but this set a very negative tone for our stay. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. We were appalled to find the kitchen in an unhygienic state, with a lizard spotted in the cooking place. The quality of the pool was also subpar, with poor maintenance. Additionally, the staff we interacted with were unprofessional and rude, adding to our discomfort. To make matters worse, there was no dedicated kid’s menu available. We were told to arrange food for our child on our own, which was highly inconvenient and unacceptable for a hotel of your stature. The staff also misbehaved with our parents during lunch as if they were doing any favour. The breakfast was kept at the dining place till lunch time where the dining place had started to stink. The lunch served was cold and the staff said the so called chef had left the resort and no one is there to give us the food. Due to the accumulation of these issues, we made the decision to cut our stay short and left after just one day, even though we had initially booked for three.
