Rhythm Kumarakom is a good property with a very good view of the vembanad lake. Check in and check out process was very smooth. Very supportive staff, good food, nice ambience. But one negative point. All the cottages are built on both the sides of the infinity pool and the guests who want to go to the lakeside walk in front of us when we are relaxing in the backside veranda. No privacy at all. We stayed in a Villa with a plunge pool and the so called pool is so small that you cant call it a pool, but a pond! Here again people will be walking in front of you when you are in the plunge pool!! Very disgusting.

The stay was okayish. The complementary boat ride was fine. The breakfast buffet was again okayish - nothing fancy. The ambience was good . However , the property was not very spacious - the pool side villa was a good choice but people can see through. The staff was courteous on day 1 but by the time of checkout it was not a very nice experience- especially they made us wait for around 5 minutes to check the room after checkout - not sure what they expected to take away from room on a lighter note !

Hi MakeMyTrip Team, I stayed at Rhythm Kumarakom Resort on 23–24 Sept 2025 with my family (2 adults + 2 kids). The stay was extremely poor – unhygienic property, unprofessional staff, unsafe swimming pool area (no lights), and very poor food & breakfast. I contacted resort customer care, but the response seemed just a formality and unsatisfactory. I request a full refund of or suitable compensation. Please resolve this urgently. The experience was extremely poor and not worth the amount charged. Key issues faced: The property was unhygienic, old, and poorly maintained. Staff were unprofessional and unhelpful. The swimming pool area had no lights in the evening, which was unsafe for kids. Food quality was very poor and overpriced. Even the complimentary breakfast was below standard. I booked 2 rooms for my family of 4 through Makemytrip. Check in was very easy. When I checked in and reached the door of the room, all the excitement was gone as soon as I saw the door. The toilet door in the lodge is even better. The buildings are made of very sub-standard materials. The bed was ok. There is no shaving set or anything in the toilet . Swimming pool is so big and well maintained but no one is there to assist with towel. Food is okay.. complimentary boat ride was only for name sake. The next door of this resort is Back water Ripples. My next check in was there. The next day, when we checked in to Back Water Ripples, we realized the difference. Their boat ride lasted for 1 hour and included live music, flute and tabla artists on the boat.

We stayed at Rhythm Kumarakom from 26th to 28th July to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and I must say—it was one of the best resort experiences we've ever had! From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A special thank you to the team for arranging such a beautiful birthday celebration—it truly meant a lot to our family. The hospitality and warmth we received were exceptional. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the overall ambience of the resort is serene and refreshing. The swimming pool is absolutely spectacular—no wonder it's known as India’s largest! We spent hours enjoying it as a family. The views of vembanad lake is amazing. Now coming to the food—hands down the best we've had in any resort across Kerala. Every meal was a delight! A big shoutout to Mr. Vishnu and Mr. Ajith from the restaurant staff, who took such great care of us. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Had a terrible experience with the water closet,water not draining properly from toilet commode. At the Break fast table what ever we ordered did not get and hence had to finally walk out of breakfast table. Even though the dining manager was apologetic but did not solve the purpose. I recently stayed at this resort and had a mixed experience. While the property has potential, especially with its large and impressive pool, there were several areas that need serious attention. Food: Quite overpriced for the quality. The taste was average and didn’t justify the cost. Maintenance: The overall upkeep of the property was poor. Dry coconut leaves near the pool posed a safety hazard, and common areas looked like they could use regular cleaning and care. Room Service: This was a major letdown. There's no 24-hour service — we couldn’t even get drinking water during the night and had to wait until morning. Plates from the previous night weren’t cleared until we specifically asked the next day afternoon. Lighting & Safety: The pool area has no lighting at night, which is a major safety concern, especially since the cottages are located right next to it. Spa: On a positive note, the spa was excellent — very relaxing and professionally done. Overall, the pool and spa were the highlights, but unless the management addresses the service gaps and maintenance issues, it’s hard to recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Staff were friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. but the room was not clean, there were stained linens, peeling wall paint, half-used toiletries, and the plunge pool was very dirty. breakfast was ok.
