Kumarakom Lake Resort

Property is to busy with activities, tried to fit too much in to the property area feels busy. Good rooms but crows in the morning and mosquitos at the night will bother.

Room was not satisfactory , v old interiors. Doors creaking, sanitary sanitary system mal functioning, poor view from window, sunset cruise not happening - when it dies they give half an hr .And all this for 66k for 2 nights ! Very hyped boring place.

The accommodation was average compared to the price; there were many mosquitoes, and it was not up to expectations. The food was okay, but the coffee was not good.

The resort is amongst nature .The surrounding is peaceful and the design of resort is wonderful. The lake view villa 101 102 103 has best view of the lake . The room is spacious and toiletries were well placed. The evening boat cruise with music is amazing. However a bit difficult to get in the boat for senior citizen. Breakfast was very good . Overall a good experience . Swimming pool is clean

Location is amazing. Very beautiful property, well maintained. Amenities are good. We tried pottery, sunrise cruise and Kayak. Had good experience. Food breakfast spread was good. Service tends to degrade during peak hours. Dinner spread has less options for vegetarian. Having veg and non veg options closeby make it harder for veg people who are sensitive to smell

the luxury pavillion room shown in mmt and the room they were providing was very different. after seeing so many rooms and arguing for one hour they give us the room which we actually booked.And the staff who was showing us the room was very rude to us. only the lady who was at reception was very sweet

Wonderful stay at boathouse. One must experience it. Staff were so helpful and can go to great extend to make your stay special..

Very happy with our stay . We opted for a villa with a private pool and our kid enjoyed it to the brim . Ambience of the property is top notch ! Food was good . Staff’s are very friendly n inviting.

The property itself is beautiful and right on the lake. The views are scenic from every point in the property. It’s well maintained and the staff is extremely polite and hospitable. Every thing here is a 10/10.

I had a truly memorable experience staying on the Kumarakom Lake Resort houseboat. The serene backwaters provided a peaceful and scenic atmosphere that was perfect for relaxation. The staff were extremely courteous and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met without being intrusive. The food served on board was delicious, especially the local Kerala cuisine, which was freshly prepared and served hot. The fish curry and appam were highlights of the meals. Amenities like clean washrooms, air-conditioned rooms, and a relaxing deck area added to the comfort of the stay. Safety and hygiene standards were clearly maintained, and we felt very well cared for throughout our journey. The route through the backwaters was beautiful, with glimpses of village life, lush greenery, and calm waters all around. Overall, it was a perfect mix of luxury and nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and experience the beauty of Kerala in a unique way.

It was an amazing experience at Kumarakom lake resort. Great place, great ambience, lovely staff, good food, beautiful vintage vibe rooms. The staff clicks some amazing aesthetic pictures on the day of your departure, that's like an icing on the cake. Its a must visit place if you are travelling to Kochi.

Good ambience, staff, maintainence and quality of food Room size was too small for 3 adults. Compared to other similar resorts in the vicinity, this seems over priced

What a property ! Beautiful landscapes , friendly warm staff and peaceful relaxed atmosphere. I feel happy I made the decision to visit KLR . The staff is beyond extra-ordinary - thoughtful, caring , warm and always present. I could go on and on, and fall short of words to describe how much I loved my time here .. Will be back one day !

Undoubtedly , the best luxurious property of Kumarakom. Right from inception to the check out - everything was smooth and take care. The Ayurvedic massages are must try .

I recently visited Kumarakom Lake Resort. The place is excellent—beautifully designed, well maintained, and offers complete privacy. It truly stands out for its ambience and setting. However, when it comes to customer friendliness, I didn’t feel a very warm or welcoming vibe. The staff was professional, but the overall experience felt more like a business-first approach rather than genuine hospitality. Compared to other big names like Tata’s Taj group, it lacked that emotional warmth and personal connection. In short, while the resort delivers on luxury and exclusivity, it doesn't quite offer the heartfelt service that some other top hospitality brands in India are known for.
