A very good resort right by the Vembanad backwater. Space is huge. Lot of activities to do. The reaort offers free shikara ride, high tea, paddle boat service and lot of other fun activities and games. The staff is helpful and the food is lip smacking. The inly down side was the high waiting time in the restaurant after irdering dood. It takes atlwasr hald ab hour. This should be improved. Otherqise a very nice experience.

We stayed there for 1 night which is, frankly not enough to explore all the amenities and experiences they have to offer. Its a huge well maintained property right by the lake. Views are beautiful, hospitality is excellent and have all the amenities you can name: pool, kids play area, library, cycling, indoor games, spa, complementary boat cruise, evening high tea by the lakeside, cultural programme.. etc. Recommended.

it’s our permanent place to stay at Kumarakom, normally we are traveling by Boat from Ernakulam, and the backwater ripples have beautiful shade to dock the boat safely, and well experienced boat man also there Mr Jayesh, he will take care of the boat and other things, the rooms and environments are superb and of course the worth of money we pay.

we stays in suite villa which is a very spacious room .The room has outside sitout overlooking the lake .The view is fantastic. The breakfast is tasty and has lots of option.The restaurant served authentic tasty food .Swimming pool is clean well kept with view of lake .The sunset boat cruise with musics makes the evening fantastic .Gym was small but sufficient for workout .kids have many games to explore . overall i feel it is the best resort in kumarakom. I was with senior citizen the golf cart available at resort was useful

We had a wonderful stay at Backwater Ripples, Kumarakom. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, and the entire property was beautifully kept. We especially enjoyed the complimentary shikara boat ride, which was a memorable experience. We also tried the Ayurveda massage, which was refreshing, relaxing, and very budget-friendly. Overall, it was a perfect getaway with excellent hospitality and great value for money. Highly recommended!
