Taj Kumarakom Resort & Spa, Kerala

Our stay at Taj Kumarakom was a truly memorable experience. My family and I felt well looked after from the moment we arrived. The property is beautiful, serene, and maintained with great care. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. A special mention to Vishnu, who went out of his way to keep an eye on my daughter while she enjoyed her time in the pool. His kindness and attentiveness meant a lot to us as parents. Speaking of the pool — it was wonderfully maintained, with crystal-clear water and a peaceful, inviting setting. It became one of our favorite spots during our stay. The only small drawback was that the tea and snacks service in the evening was delayed. The brochure mentioned it would be ready at 4:30 pm, but it took a while longer to be served. While it wasn’t a major issue, a bit more promptness would have made the experience seamless. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we’d happily return. The warmth of the staff and the charm of the property made it a special family getaway.

Excellent stay there.Property is nicely maintained. We really enjoyed the stay. Chef could have paid more attention to the cooking. Breakfast items could have been more authentic. Serve Idi Appam with veg stew. Not Potato Bhaji which is served with puri. The Kerala paratha at dinner was semi cooked. And the chef wasn't apologetic when I showed him instead he gave an excuse that Kerala paratha comes in layers so it can be like that, really! I am married to a Keralite for the past 40 years and never had such uncooked parathas anywhere. Young Staff at the reception needs a little more training as to how to handle buggy. We reached at 1.20pm and opted for lunch as soon as we came till the room was ready. Even past 3 pm the lady couldn't give us a buggy to reach out room! Overall stay was good. Nice ambience.

The heritage property of Taj Kumarakom in itself was a very special experience. Most amazing was it's close proximity to the Bird sanctuary. The big sized trees and the water bodies within the premises gave a close to mother nature feel and listening to all those bird calls and then the bird sighting during early morning felt very special. Rooms in the heritage property gave a feeling like we are living in yet another era but with all modern amenities added for our comfort. Overall incredible experience.

totally blown away by the property. not a large property , but a quaint , serene , heritage property nestled In natural.tropical set up. the rooms very spacious. well appointed. the hospitality was exceptiona. GM Mayanak Mittal and staff extend all thier support to us when we had a bit if a medical emergency during our stay. we literally were made to feel at home. I would rate this 10 on 10 on all aspects of hospitality, well appointed.

A Beautiful & Luxurious Property tucked away in history & nature. Well appointed & spacious villas facing a vast Lotus pond....We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here travelling around the property. The Vembanad River view in the evening or the massive lagoon & many birds, sunsets, all were just photo finishes! A special mention to the staff who were more than happy to help us make our stay memorable.

Stay was good, the trip was seamlessly, everything was very well organised. We have planned a trip after a long time and I think make my trip was the right choice considering we have always heard good reviews about make my trip. We are surely planning our coming trip through make my trip

Great vintage heritage property with country sides village appearance along with excellent mesmerising views of periyar back water and great vicinity to stay in totally a typical and beautiful star resort with decent facilities and swimming pool is classy

it's beautiful place and serene place and perfects stay . Just that few services were slow . Other wise I would recommend 99% beautiful trip
