Excellent Stay
The place is magical, nestled next to the vembanad lake and makes for surreal views. But what’s more beautiful than the place itself is its hospitality and it’s people. We were treated with utmost care during our stay. The food was amazing , coupled with great serving and care shown by Shafi, and chefs such as Janaki. Additionally, there are lot of activities to do within the resort and outside. We were treated to an amazing eco tour by naturalist Prateesh whose knowledge is praise worthy, his expertise in explaining the beautiful fauna and flora made the tour memorable. Another naturalist, Anjana, showed us beautiful and rare birds during our morning bird watching walk. In other activities, Joseph helped us navigate the beautiful Vembanad lake during our kayaking excursion. The ayurveda treatments were a delight and we were pampered by masseuse Anjana, under the careful guidance of Dr. Aishwarya. During our whole stay, the management team led by Dinesh, Tijo and Shynima ensured that we were comfortable at all times. The highlight of the stay was the tea served by Chai Chechi, its so unique that you have to see it once for yourself. We recommend this place strongly for it’s stunning views but more so for hospitality.

Coconut lagoon is a beautiful property with extremely helpful and welcoming staff. There are multiple activities to keep you engaged for the entire day. The food is great as well!

The property was very beautiful, Especially the journey to the property was more interesting and new. The rooms and the property was maintained very clean. Restaurant service was great! What i personally felt was the hospitality is kinda need to be improved, Especially the reception staffs.

wonderful property right by the backwaters of Kerala. Staying here felt like a cultural immersion throughout, from the welcome boat ride & musicians who greet you upon check-in, to the daytime activities within the hotel premises (clay pottery, weaving, Kerala dance performances). The food was a cherry on top - great variety and homely taste. would definitely recommend as a top pick for Kumarakom stay!

Wonderful stay
resort experience was really amazing. Staff was super courteous and food was very good. we were travelling as a party of 4 adults and 3 kids and all of us enjoyed it. Resort is located in a very serene location with good access to backwaters. There are a lot of kid friendly activities as well.

You have to go to resort by a boat cruise of around 10 to 15 minutes. The resort is surrounded by vembanad lake..All the items used in resort were earth friendly..you don't see any plastic there..I had booked a pool villa for 1 night. The room was pretty large in traditional kerala style with a decent pool..The dinner was good with variety dishes and various deserts. It also includes keralas own traditional dishes, prawns, karimeen fry etc..Breakfast is also pretty good and the staffs there are very friendly and helpful. You can also choose various activities in resort

Good Stay
Overall a good experience. The location of the property is bang on - the view is amazing. Food - 3/5. Continental cuisine served can be improved a lot. Authentic kerela food was really good. Hospitality - wasn’t the same that we expected at a cg h earth property when compared to other cg h properties. Activities and experiences at the resort are very good especially the sunset boat cruise. Tl;dr this was more of a commercial / hyped experience at a resort vs other cg h experiences like at marari or wayanad wild.

Review: I had a basic experience during my stay at CGH. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations in terms of taste or variety. The meal timings also didn’t align well with our schedule, which made things a bit inconvenient. The room was not the most comfortable either. The wooden flooring made noticeable creaky noises, which wasn’t ideal—especially for families with small children who need a quieter environment. Overall, there’s room for improvement in both comfort and service.

Average Stay
Location and resort maintenance is great. Issue is with the service(delayed and confused staff) and communication gap between the guests and the management. Food is the major drawback. Its very expensive(for the quantity, variety and taste) and bland. Due to the loaction of the property most of the times we dont get to try out outside restaurants especially during the monsoon season.
