Some Good Some Bad
I booked 2 rooms for my family of 4 through Makemytrip. Check in was very easy. When I checked in and reached the door of the room, all the excitement was gone as soon as I saw the door. The toilet door in the lodge is even better. The buildings are made of very sub-standard materials. The bed was ok. There is no shaving set or anything in the toilet . Swimming pool is so big and well maintained but no one is there to assist with towel. Food is okay.. complimentary boat ride was only for name sake. The next door of this resort is Back water Ripples. My next check in was there. The next day, when we checked in to Back Water Ripples, we realized the difference. Their boat ride lasted for 1 hour and included live music, flute and tabla artists on the boat.

It's a must visit property... The pool,stay and food were excellent.. The pool was properly maintained, clean water... staff were also helping.

Excellent Stay
We stayed at Rhythm Kumarakom from 26th to 28th July to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and I must say—it was one of the best resort experiences we've ever had! From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A special thank you to the team for arranging such a beautiful birthday celebration—it truly meant a lot to our family. The hospitality and warmth we received were exceptional. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the overall ambience of the resort is serene and refreshing. The swimming pool is absolutely spectacular—no wonder it's known as India’s largest! We spent hours enjoying it as a family. The views of vembanad lake is amazing. Now coming to the food—hands down the best we've had in any resort across Kerala. Every meal was a delight! A big shoutout to Mr. Vishnu and Mr. Ajith from the restaurant staff, who took such great care of us. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Poor Stay
Had a terrible experience with the water closet,water not draining properly from toilet commode. At the Break fast table what ever we ordered did not get and hence had to finally walk out of breakfast table. Even though the dining manager was apologetic but did not solve the purpose. Will never visit again

I recently stayed at this resort and had a mixed experience. While the property has potential, especially with its large and impressive pool, there were several areas that need serious attention. Food: Quite overpriced for the quality. The taste was average and didn’t justify the cost. Maintenance: The overall upkeep of the property was poor. Dry coconut leaves near the pool posed a safety hazard, and common areas looked like they could use regular cleaning and care. Room Service: This was a major letdown. There's no 24-hour service — we couldn’t even get drinking water during the night and had to wait until morning. Plates from the previous night weren’t cleared until we specifically asked the next day afternoon. Lighting & Safety: The pool area has no lighting at night, which is a major safety concern, especially since the cottages are located right next to it. Spa: On a positive note, the spa was excellent — very relaxing and professionally done. Overall, the pool and spa were the highlights, but unless the management addresses the service gaps and maintenance issues, it’s hard to recommend this place wholeheartedly.

The staff was very helpful and the entire premise was very neat and clean. They should increase some amenities like upgrading game room. They also prepared jain meals as per our requirements.

Staff were friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. but the room was not clean, there were stained linens, peeling wall paint, half-used toiletries, and the plunge pool was very dirty. breakfast was ok.

1. Location: Good 2. Resort Ambience: Good 3.Food: Overpriced 4.Food Taste: Below Average 5.Inroom Cleanliness: Average 6.Bathroom cleanliness: Below Average 7.Outdoor cleanliness: Good Major concern is the overpriced food which is below expectation. I couldnt believe the food bill and had to go thru it several times to make sure that Im not wrongly billed. Feels like the resort is taking advantage of its customers helplessness to access local eateries in the area, its sure!! Next robbery is in terms of staff contribution(5%) which is compulsory deductible from the bill amount. This was the first time in my resort/hotel stay experience i had came across compulsory staff contribution on food bill. During booking i never had any idea of such huge pricing till i scanned the menu in restuarant at a point of no look back!!. Another strange rule is 20% additional charges for inroom dining which will be a concern if we wish to order food for old people who wish to have food in room

Excellent Stay
The overall stay was excellent with beautiful views of the vembanad lake and mesmerizing sunsets..The food was absolutely delicious especially the buffet breakfast..The only areas of improvement could be the upkeep of the rooms and bed covers and blankets could have been more cleaner...The services are good too with an occassional delay in responding once in a while..but the staff have been really courteous and helpful and were always available for any queries. We loved the swimming experience in the pool with views of the lake and also the boat cruise in the evening..We highly recommend Rhythm Kumarakom to anyone looking for a comparatively budget friendly stay at kumarakom.

Relaxing holiday
The stay was a pleasant and relaxing experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet had a good spread with a live counter and the food was delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the pool and backwaters. The pool was huge and well maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Excellent Stay
We enjoyed our stay at Rhythm Kumarakom and the food was too good with amazing delicacies. The property was located away from the hustle hence you can experience a complete surreal feel in your trip. The Vembanad lake located behind the property is a true asset for the destination which makes your trip even more memorable. The property had all the amenities which are stated and the hospitality was too notch. I highly recommend this to my friends and family who wish to spend time with their loved ones along with the mesmerizing nature!
