Our Stay at Double Tree by Hilton - Ann Arbor

Stayed in this property for 3 nights during our recent visit to Ann Arbor. While the property is located at distance of almost 3-4 miles from downtown, it is the only 4 star rated property in Ann Arbor. For a start the staff at the front desk could be much more guest friendly. Never seen more indifferent attitude that too for a property managed by Hilton. Huge difference in between this and another Hilton property (Embassy Suites) which we stayed the same week in Madisson. The property has staffing issues. On our return to the room on the second day was surprised to see that basic housekeeping facilities for the room had not provided. On raising a query with the front office/ operations was told that housekeeping for existing guest would be provided only after the day rooms with checkouts had been serviced and that could take as much time. The room was finally cleaned around 4:30 pm after multiple request. However, the property does have positives like the morning Breakfast which has a decent spread of food/ beverage and adequate parking.
