A wonderful place to stay.

It was my first time traveling to the uk & i was a bit hesitant booking a lodge from india knowing nothing about the place, but by god how wrong i was. When i reached there and rang the doorbell, i was greeted by one of the nicest gentlemen i've ever met in my life. He was so polite and helpful, he helped me bring one of my suitcases upstairs. I believe he is the owner & caretaker of that lodge as well. The room is super comfortable and quiet for a peaceful sleep. Many bars/shops/restaurants are within walking distance (start walking to the left side once you're out of the lodge. The room was warm due to internal heating though the outside was chilling. Cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms was top notch and is done on daily basis, you can make coffee/tea in your room which is complimentary and wifi is super fast. I would recommend anyone visiting southampton from india for the first time to just book landgaurd lodge without any doubt. In the end, i would like to repeat one more time, the owner/host of the lodge is super nice and polite & helpful that he makes a huge impact on someone's staying experience in that place. 5 stars!
