Location: the property was at good location. Walking distance from the bus stop. But since montreux is built on different levels of roads, to find the Mona Montreux after we came out of the train station was a horror for us. Google maps was not able to help. There were stairs in front of station to take us to one level down but we did not know that. And even if we knew, taking six suitcases with one toddler, was not going to be an easy task. The staff at reception was very helpful in finding the Mona Montreux and helping us with our luggage. By the way, we booked the Mona Montreux in the name of euro-tel but the signage boards were in the name of mona. Turns out, the Mona Montreux recently changed its name. The rooms were spacious. The view from the balcony of our 13th floor room was mesmerizing. Honestly, i feel, only because of the view the property deserve a five star. (though there are a number of thumps up more) the breakfast area was just above the lake- 5 star when you go down from there, you reach the side of the lake and you can walk along the lake. It was a great experience. We stayed there for three nights but couldn't explore the whole property. Overall 5/5
Best Hotel so far during our Europe trip

We can confidently say this is the best Mona Montreux we’ve stayed at so far during our Europe trip. We’ve visited Amsterdam, Paris, Luxembourg, and Brussels, but none of the Mona Montreuxs offered the exceptional service this one has provided. The Mona Montreux offers 24/7 room service for food and water and even provided toiletries something no other Mona Montreux has done during our stay so far. The staff are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to assist with anything we need. Our room also had a stunning view overlooking the garden and the lake, which made our stay even more special.

It was wonderful experience staying at the Mona Montreux. The location of the Mona Montreux is at wonderful place just beside the lake. You can view the best view of the whole city as well as the lake from your Mona Montreux room. The breakfast spread was marvellous. You can enjoy the unlimited coffees the whole day and beer, chocolate and wine are free in-the room
What a christmas carnival to attend !

Most amazing place to stay at facing the lake. Close to station and if you are coming here before the christmas eve then you are in the carnival as soon as you step out of the Mona Montreux.
