Nice view, but needs refreshin....
Rated as 5 stars, this is maximum 2 and a half, possibly 3. Although we stayed in much nicer three star hotels. View of Toledo is nice, depending on the room, but hotel needs refreshing and thorough cleaning. (e.g. Windows)
Friendly staff at the reception.

When we parked the car and walked up to this place, I was in awe. The building is beautiful! The staff were spot on and everything went crisply. Our room was beautiful as well. I was presently surprised when we opened the door to the room. It was quite spacious and perfect for my husband and I along with our 9 year old. The location was perfect - a quick drive in to town. We also walked into town once and it was a pleasant walk - not too strenuous, but chose to drive in the rest of the time. The views from the room and the grounds were amazing.
The only down side to this room was that the bathroom constantly smelled like poo (even right when we first entered the room). It wasn't intensely strong, but enough to make us want to keep the door closed.

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of days exploring Toledo. Purported to be 5 star but really not better than 4. Staff were good but hotel was a 10 Euro each way taxi trip to the town and if you are eating there it is 4 trips a day.
For exploring I would pick in the town, much easier

Very nice setting and rooms, b....
Lovely location and great rooms and bathrooms. Understaffed at our time of the year and the in-house restaurant is very mediocre. The access to the rooms is complicated, either you have to use stairs first or walk a very long way to get to the elevators. During our 2-day stay there was a water cut, which was nor repaired at our time of leaving. So very problematic for the use of the bathroom and toilet. But good commercial sense not to charge us for the 2nd night.

VIEWS OF TOLEDO
Situated on the other side of the Tagus River from the old part of Toledo this hotel is an imposing modern structure clinging to the hills with some magnificent views back over the river to Toledo.
The reception area is housed in what appears to be a very old renovated building and the staff who checked me in were very pleasant and helpful and directed me to my room.
The rooms are housed in new curved buildings and also offer magnificent views. My room 307 was large and perfectly decorated and an ideal space to spend a couple of nights. The room had everything I needed during my stay as well as a spacious balcony with views towards Toledo which were spectacular day or night. The bathroom was also large and had a big tub, separate shower, vanity, wc and bidet.
The hotel offered free parking which was great and the only small disappointment was the pool which just didn’t match he style or quality of the rest of the property and just reminded me of an average backyard pool.
This hotel is a great choice provided you are aware that it is located a little out of the city centre and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
