This hotel is in an excellent location. Pretty central. Interesting decor and nice rooms, well furnished. Very comfortable. Funky design and roomy although this could apply to a lot of hotels in Spain. Would recommend staying.

Nice hotel, great staff
We spent a few nights here recently. It is a nice hotel, with well appointed comfortable rooms, and courteous, friendly staff. It is on the less "touristy" side of the river, but only a short walk to the bridge. We had a car, and our room rate included parking. Access to the park is skinny and steep, but the staff were more than happy to help. I'd recommend this one.

Comfortable and good location
We just spent 8 nights at Monte Carmelo and we loved it, the location is perfect in that it is in the Los Remedios area (Triana) across the river from tourist central. It is a modern hotel with large comfortable rooms, a great breakfast and very helpful staff.
Other than getting a taxi from and to the train station we walked everywhere. Around the hotel is a main shopping street for locals and a number of good tapas restaurants and formal, very close, only a 10 minute walk to the Mercado market with a fantastic small flamenco theatre, great cooking school and over the bridge you can easily walk to the Alcazar, Plaza Espana and Cathedral. The great part of being this side of the river, the restaurants are more real and very inexpensive.
We look forward to returning to Seville and Monte carmelo

Ideal hotel for city break
We stayed here for a 3 night weekend City break in May.
The staff were very friendly and helpful recommending some great local old tapas bars that we would never have found on our own.
The room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable with a choice of quality pillows offered.
The bathroom and shower was excellent and well equipped with nice toiletries.
After our first night we filled in a short questionnaire at breakfast in which my wife mentioned that there was no shower cap in the room. By the time we came back to the hotel we found that one had been placed in the bathroom which demonstrated the desire of the hotel to please its guests.
The hotel offers two free to use computers in the lounge where you can book tours and attractions online and print off the tickets. This is invaluable if you inevitably visit the Real Alcázar during your stay as the attraction does not accept electronic vouchers and if you don’t book a timed ticket online and print your ticket you will face a 2hr wait in line to purchase tickets.
The breakfast buffet was extensive ,regularly replenished and offered delicious fruit breads cakes meats cheese and fish with both hot and cold options.
The hotel is located in Triana about a ten minute walk over a bridge from the centre of Seville and the main attractions and is much better value than similar hotels on the other side of the river.
Seville is very flat and extremely pedestrian and bicycle friendly with shared foot/cycle paths everywhere. I would recommend the bike tour with Seebybike a 3 hr tour of which about 5 minutes is on roads shared with cars due to the bike friendly nature of the city.
We walked 35 miles in three days around the city without any real problem in three days and found Seville to be friendly and very safe day and night.
The hotel does not have an evening restaurant but with hundreds of traditional tapas bars and restaurants to try it’s not an option we would need.
I would recommend this hotel and would return if I go again

Tirana district of Seville
Although the room had one opaque window with a view of a wall, it was in a district where the locals lived and was 15 minute walk away from the main attractions, Alcazar and the Cathedral
The buffet breakfast provided a wide variety of cold and hot dishes which was replenished frequently and presented by a cheerful and attentive staff.
We hired a car and the underground car park was quite a challenge as the ramp was steep and narrow but there was sufficient room to park your car in the designated bay
Two computers were available for guests to book on line and print off tickets.
Bar area was not serviced and in the 6 days we did not see anyone having drinks but within a short distance there were many local bars at local prices.
