Excellent choice for my confer....
Despite other reviews I found the staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. The hotel is extremely affordable so I wasn't expecting too much. But I had a really large bedroom with large screen TV (there was a smaller second bedroom that I didn't use). There was a huge bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast was modest but fine, with cold meats, hot sausages and boiled eggs, good filter coffee, cereals and bread and jam etc. About 1/2 hour walk into the library which I personally like but only 3 stops on the bus which is more or less door to door. Perfect for my needs on this occasion.

Good, except the old mans atti....
We went to Belgrade for some official work which we did not expect would take a month, we stayed at Vila Bulevar from the 22nd May to 20 June, the rooms were of top quality for the price we paid, the first week we stayed in a room which was 50 euros a day with tax, after a week we discovered that we need to stay longer than a week due to which we moved into a different room for 30 euros a day which was as good as the first one & we really liked it here, sirjan the owners son is a very nice person & he looked after us...
However, initially we thought that the owner (old man) had problem with us because we are Indians but we noticed that he was the same with all the guests irrespective of from where they came or how they looked, at times he was very rude but we decided that it's best to just ignore him & deal with the son...
The 3 weeks that we stayed in the second room, the cleaner came in only twice, we used to empty the trash ourselves in the garbage bin out by the road as we were told that the cleaner comes in the morning & leaves by 1 everyday, we managed somehow...
I feel this place is good for short stay as it is very reasonable, well maintained & make sure you deal with the son and not the Old Man...

More hostel than B&B
The rooms are poorly furnished with hard beds and cheap office furniture. Surprisingly, the bathrooms are really nice. The breakfast is minimal but OK. There is a beer garden that was only open the first night that we were there.

Awful first impression.
The first thing you notice at any establishment, will be the way in which you are received by the receptionist/host.
When we showed up at this place, it was 22:00 pm in the evening, and we had been travelling for 11 hours straight to get here.
Therefore, what met us shocked us both beyond belief:
Even before we got the room key, we were threatened with being kicked out, if we didn't have our reservation from Hotels.com with us. Luckily we did, but the webpage mentions NOTHING of this!
We were spited upon for the entire stay by our host, and felt very unwelcome - except by his son, who really gave it his all, and always met us with a happy smile, and was very willing to help us.
Sadly, this does not make up for it. You (owner) simply can't treat paying customers like that.

Why accept 4 people booking an....
Reception was very nice and polite
Room was clean but could only accomodate 3 people - funny: we were charged the city taxes for 4 persons but none of the rooms could accomodate 4 persons - And we did book for 4! Go figure.
It is a good 1 hour walk from the pedestrian section of the city and a cab ride will ony set you back about five Euros.
Internet in the room wasn't working: before or after having spoken with reception. Since we were only there for one night we did not insist :)
Would I sleep there again: maybe but it wouldn't be my first, or second choice.
