With the view of Peles!
The hotel used to be the office of Royal Guard. It is only a few minutes walk from Peles Castle. We were lucky that not many people stayed at the hotel that night and therefore, we got the room with the view of the Castle!! We were so excited. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only problem we got was with the wifi which was very weak in the room. The breakfast was at the hotel restaurant which was next to the reception. It was very nice that we can order anything from the menu so, we had food freshly made for us.

A very pleasant mini-vacation ....
I stayed at Vila Economy, Complex "La Tunuri" together with a few close friends from 28th of April till 1st of May.
The room was spacious and very clean. The areal is quiet and nice.
The restaurant served a great variety of food and the serving was exemplary.
I really enjoyed this mini-vacation.

It’s our 2nd time here in the last month and i have to admit it that i’m in love with this hotel!
The rooms are clean and fancy, in a regal way.
The breakfast is decent enough and you can see the Peles castle from this location.
The castle is literally 30 m away from this hotel.

Amazing location but not acces....
Loved this hotel. We stayed with our 3 and 4 year olds so booked the suite in the loft. The kids had the sofa bed and there was a little mezzanine leading to a table and chairs that they enjoyed sitting at to play.
You can't reach the hotel via google maps as the road is closed to cars. If driving there type in Hotel Marami which takes you via the main roads, the hotel is then about 100m away doen the hill. Parking is outside the hotel.
A couple of downsides with the room; the fridge makes a noise all night like someone doing the longest pee ever and the floors are very creaky. If you have light sleepers like one of our kids it could be a problem. If it's just 1 or 2 adults you'll be fine closing the door to the lounge so as not to hear the fridge and the floors probably won't cause an issue.
I can't speak highly enough of the restaurant staff. We are a vegan family and each morning they provided a fabulous breakfast of chickpea salads, fruits, breads, soya milk and tofu. Really really accommodating.
Something we didn't realise is the castle is closed in summer on Mondays and in winter Mondays and Tuesdays. So on the Monday we visited the Monastery and the park which was great for kids. I would also advise buying castle tickets online if possible as the queues get big and enquiring when your particular language tour is available as you have to go in a guided group. As we needed to leave early we went with a Romanian tour and dudn't understand a word so relied on the plaques which actually was okay.
All in all highly recommended!
