Horrible Experience - Lack of transparency on issues

we stayed for 2 nights, thinking this was a good property and good location. However, the AC DID NOT WORK AT ALL. the front desk informed us only after us inquiring about it, saying it might get fixed some time. But for our whole stay the AC was off, we couldn't even keep the windows open as ours was a street facing room. And at such a short notice, no other property was available nearby, forcing us to stay in hot sweaty room for 2 whole days.
