RESI STAY Kyo Ryuvilux Nijo

Stayed with family (wife and son) in Resi Stay Kyo Ryuvilux Nijo, Kyoto for two nights. It is a serviced apartment in a quiet residential neighbourhood. On the positives: -very modern with latest gadgets and appliances. -two toilets and separate bathroom and washbasin offering convenience and privacy. -very contemporary toilet fittings with adequate bath towels and toiletry kits. -comfortable beds and duvets/pillows -quiet residential neighbourhood with two convenience stores and bakeries within 5 minutes walking distance -Centrally located with Bus and Metro stations within 10 minutes walking distance (depending on destination) On the flip side: -No views since the balcony is sealed to respect neighbours’ privacy! -No dining options, closest are the bakeries for breakfast. For vegetarians, one would have to take a bus/metro to reach vegetarian/vegan restaurants The property is managed by RESI STAY chain. There is no human interaction at all in the property. So one has to go their office near Kyoto Main Railway station to complete registration formalities which can be a bother if one does not know this beforehand. Having said that, the Resi Stay staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. There is a free coach drop (every half hour) from their office to respective properties. On the whole, value for money and very comfortable. Recommend.
