Beautiful place, but the staff was not helpful and too many stairs

coupleWhile we had a very different picture going into the hotel, the reality wasn't as pleasant. The initial room allotted to us was very small and we had to ask to be shifted to another room. Right outside our room window was someone's house and it was awkward as every now and then you'd have people right outside your window. They don't even provide hot water kettles along with tea and coffee set in the room and when asked for it acted as if we had asked for a free lobster dinner! The restaurants around the property are really nice and you can superb food at a reasonable price. Also the staff was very cold barring a few individuals. The porter kept hounding us for a tip and when we finally gave him a tip while leaving he made a whole scene about how it wasn't enough! And finally the stairs! You have to climb 106 stairs to reach the property. So be careful.
